just a few recruiting tips… Even at a lower overall, you can still get four and five stars. You just have to put as many hours into them as possible, and then hard sell and schedule a visit as soon as possible… also instead of trying to spread your hours between 25 players, focus on putting max hours into five or six players, and once you have signed them, move onto the best options after that

In case he reads this, you can also sort players by number of offers. If you’re a smaller program, it’s worth waiting a week or two into the season and then seeing which four star players have zero offers

Meegs there are 5 auto Bids for the playoffs, you have Big Ten, Big 12, ACC, SEC, Group of 5. So then the way the byes work is that it is the 4/5 highest-ranked conference winner. So like this year bc of Boise higher then the Big 12 then get the 4th bye, however since the big 12 is not in the top 12 they get the 12 seed no matter what

The CFP sim is ridiculous 😂 I know you can’t completely predict things. But the way it puts absurd G5 teams into the playoff, winning championships. The programmers also didn’t do good work on NIL/Transfer portal impact which was obvious in 2023. They need to create something that accounts for the disruption that teams are seeing which is causing uncertainty in depth and less team consistency. It also needs to factor mass transfers that can elevate teams when you get a new HC, 20 players all from the same school (like with IU). And it’s love for Jalen Milroe going for 4,000+ yards, 50 TDs, and 5 INTs is hysterical. In 2023 the guy threw 23 TDs and under 3,000 yards. He was never a great passer. And given the transfer portal last year (which this game should be accounting for) it was obvious Alabama lost more than they recovered.

The playoff seeding works like this: the top 4 conference championship winners are the top 4. The 5th best conferences championship winner gets the 12 spot if they aren’t in the top 12 but get their current spot if they are in the top 12. The next best teams picked by the committee are the rest of the teams without the bye
