This is also known as vapor or aqua blasting. Commonly used in Great Britain by motorcycle and automotive shops for many years to clean aluminum and cast iron engine blocks and parts without damage, leaving an like new finish. Here in the US we seem to be a little behind the curve as I cannot find anyone in my area that can do this work or even knows what I'm talking about, for that matter.

Hi Chris! Depending on the job, it's not always necessary to strip a surface all the way down to white metal. That's especially true if the customer plans to re-coat the surface (like in this video). @DustlessBlasting-MMLJ5 жыл бұрын
Great question. The difference between Dustless Blasting and power washing / water pressure is that there is abrasive in the process. This makes it capable of stripping much tougher coatings. Power washing is good for cleaning dirt and grime, but it generally can't remove rust, paint, bondo, etc. If you'd like to see a comparison, here is a video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jJzElIGhg86bi7M

@joeham1415 жыл бұрын
Alex McGovern noooooo bro hell naw. Circle blasting is for Rookies. I’m an industrial coatings specialist. Circle blasting leaves an uneven anchor profile on your substrate. Always 50/50 overlap. Cleaner blast and insures you get everything. Circles is terrible after your done blasting your profile readings will be all over the place

what about semi truck frames.... do you need to mask off wires or air lines???
