[MMV UNRAVEL] Tokyo Ghoul:re Edits Compilation

PLEASE DON'T USE MY EDITS/GIFS IN YOUR VIDEOS
A chronological compilation of almost all the Tokyo Ghoul edits/animations I’ve done so far on Tumblr over the past year starting from my very first one (kaeveeoh.tumbl.... Not an MMV I just didn't know what to title this OTL...
I’m tired of people using my edits in their videos and taking credit for the animation so I’m posting these here! All of these were done by me (except the original art, which is of course Ishida’s) so if you see them in anyone else’s videos they’re just trying to pass it off as their own animation lol. I use Photoshop and After Effects. Unravel is sped up because copyright.
Doesn’t fit KZbin’s video size fully because they were optimized for Tumblr’s dimensions (around 500px width) so excuse the letter boxing and quality!

the anime/Manga fandom is so ahead of other fandom's at video editing... I'm not being bias either, I've seen Teen wolf edits, Ariana grande, kpop, dance moms, one direction, harry potter, star wars, etc. All have those certain editors who are just amazing, but overall?? they're eh. But the anime/manga fandom while having a few bad editors (not bad, but you know) they rlly go over the top. Its so cool they make manga, inanimate objects, move.

I've always wanted to take each chapter of Tokyo Ghoul and have a team do voice work, while the panel appeared on screen to match. Occasionally having specific panels animated and such. It would probably be a lot of fun to do. I don't have the skill for such a task of course, but that's what always pops into my mind when I see edits like these.

Your animations are really awe inspiring! I'm currently learning after effects at the moment in college, and will be taking an additional course for it next semester. So this is something I'm really interested in doing in the future as well, in addition to my AMV/MMV editing. You really do great work though, and I'm gonna have to check out your tumblr when I get the chance! I'm also sorry to hear that so many of our fellow AMV editors swiped your projects and took credit for them. I can definitely understand where you're coming from.

Dude, this is awesome, but I don't like how it's pitched in the beginning. It definely gets better though. My favorite characters are Haise sasaki, Arima, Hinami, Takizawa, and Mutsuki.

These are absolutely amazing! Do you think you can make a tutorial on how exactly you animate these manga panels? I'm trying really hard to do that with Sony Vegas with my Sonic manga lol but I would really love it if you show us how you do yours ^^

I really hope they do make a third season to tokyo ghoul. If they don't abandon their predetermined story line and make a reboot like fans have been hoping i atleast hope they expand there animation to stay atleast maybe 75% dedicated to the original story that ishida made. Hopefully we will have 26-36 episodes if we are lucky

The video was cool AF, but sadly the song does not fit/sync with the animation as much. I feel it was such a wasted potential. If only the right song was used instead that can compliment all these edits, it would be awesome as hell.

+AngKear Ah yeah it was just a compilation to show all the TG edits I've done on Tumblr and not a music video, hence why they dont fit the aspect ratio (I just wasn't sure what to title this and MMV seemed like the generic title for such animation? I'm not really in the community so sorry if I mislead). If it was an actual MMV I would've of course made it match the music and not have random scenes and such, but these are just gifs/edits I do on Tumblr which weren't made to match anything. I just needed a song so it wouldn't be silent haha. Thank you for your comment!
