I hope the people who eat up the jiyoon vs jungeun drama know that in a video that was shot AFTER part 1 (the latest video in which there are all the contestants), they were literally walking together holding hands. The 'beef' looks forced by mnet and fake as fvck to me (and many) BUT even if they really weren't on the best terms, they have solved all of that. They're doing just fine.

Mai and sarang are obvious pd choice, but at least sarang is great at singing and dancing. Meanwhile, mai has only been praised for her visual. I wish the judges would actually comment on her voice instead of her expressions, which are sometimes not even worth praising for tbh. Also, i really hate how the editors keep giving screentimes to the same people. I know it’s how it’s usually done, but some girls couldn’t stand out because they didn’t even have a chance to appear for more than a minute :/

Unpopular opinion but despite looks, Jeemin does not stand out to me ito vocals or even presence, she usually even pics positions where she would have only one or 2 'visual' opportunities as if she tries to shy away from any singing whatsoever and never does anything even slightly vocally challenging so her scores so far must have been on her solely as a visual and dancer. I Like her but she doesnt have that wow vibe to me unfortunately. There are some other contestants that stand out more into charisma and willingness to do the hard parts and taking more risks and pushing themselves more which shows more drive. What I could see is her working hard to improve her weakness, which just so happens to be her opponents strength. Ofc she would've referenced saebi's way of performing to improve😭what do you expect? But in no way was she trying to become saebi, or else she would've tried to copy saebi's facial expressions, which is something she didn't do. Both performances were great and both gave off different vibes to me.

The fact that the producers saved Sarang over the objectively more popular and consistently higher ranking Jeemin (even though Sarang was more memorable this particular performance) to manipulate the fan votes so that they *really* had a choice in selecting *7* of the members got under my skin but it's very expected of MNET lol My fan vote 6 (in no particular order) are: -Bang Jeemin: she isn't my absolute favorite but I like her and she is guaranteed back in for reasons above lol -Lingling: she has been steadily getting better and better! voters y'all better come through for my girl where the producers haven't! -Yui: my fav rapper in the lineup, and also is a good vocalist and lovely visuals as well -Son Juwon: I like her kinda "mean girl" visual and her ability to lead, and I think she adds a unique color to the lineup -Kim Gyuri: resident cutest member in the lineup and consistently good vocalist -Um Jiwon: i am constantly surprised by how overlooked she is and besides Jiyoon i think she is one of the best vocalists on the show; only concern is her age though so my alternate would be Nam Yuju as she had good vocals, entertaining stage presence and facial expressions, and overall enjoyable to watch!

Yuju has been my number 1 pick since the beginning but over the course of the show, Mai became my number 2. Mai is way less skilled than Yuju, but I also would’ve given Mai the win. The part is really short so the winner in my eyes is the one who makes it the most memorable. Mai’s gestures and expressions were really unique as opposed to Yuju’s. Even if Yuju sang better, Mai didn’t do poorly. I think Mai knows how to leverage her strengths better than Yuju which is why the judges like her so much. It also helped that they preferred Team A’s interpretation of the song compared to Team B’s (judges mentioned that Fuko interpreted the song the most accurately to the original)

i'm risking everything here but my hot take is jeemin is very overrated in this show. i mean she's good, but after looking thoroughly, there are many contestants that are actually better than her. and i hate that they used her failed-to-debut-before story as her whole personality in the show because it's also fuko's second time and yuju's third.

Tbh, between Jimin and Sarang, Sarang's performance was actually better , I love Jimin she is obviously one of the strongest performer but her performance was not top notch if you really compare. Sarang's presentation in my opinion was better. I know Jimin has a large fanbase and she was even popular as she appeared in ru next but tbh her performance in 6th episode was not like previous ones
