Mnet... What Happened? | TXT 2021 MAMA Performance Dance Practice Reaction

This TXT MAMA performance came out of nowhere for me. They absolutely floored this!

My real name is Tad, but DonKawaii/Don was simply an IGN name I created so I kinda just rolled with it. Lol. You can call me either one. I am also a teacher, and I teach people dance. Normally, I teach my students dance through sharing my own choreography, giving people drills or exercises to build foundation and technique, or share my own philosophy. and I've been dancing for 15 years mainly growing up through Hip Hop dance culture, but have also taken inspiration from other dance artforms such as ballet, jazz, and tap. And how I got into K-Pop was because the main three groups, Wonder Girls, Big Bang, and SNSD. That followed with other things hallyu like korean dramas, variety shows, and the rest is history.

for the MAMA performance, mnet messed up the audio so the moves and the sound arent in sync. bighit released the dance practice immediately because there were some mistakes that MAMA made that affected the performances. if you watch the MAMA performance, you can see that the audio was delayed and even the camera work did not do the performance justice. the camera work did not capture the footwork properly and didnt showcase the performance properly. the dance practice camera shots was definitely alot better. even the dance teachers and the choreographers expressed their dissapoint on ig because of the mistakes that MAMA met which affected their performances. its really sad because txt said that they worked so hard for this performance and was very excited to showcase it. its honestly so sad that txt got mistreated so much on MAMA. there were other things mistakes too that happen towards txt during the award show.

Nah because the fact that they're all practically giants, makes their range 15x larger than average. which is why watching them dance big looks absolutely amazing 👏 even their level changes, and extensions are so noticeable that it tickles my brain. Thank you for reacting !!!

Yeah, choreography for this was INSANE. It requires so much strength and precision, I was genuinely out of words. And, like you mentioned, the footwork stands out so much too! Every single move is so fast-paced and considering how they need to be 100% on beat since that's what the choreography is based on... just wow. TXT really outdid themselves. They also mentioned how this is the biggest amount of backup dancers they've ever had too, making this, overall, their biggest performance yet! I feel so proud of them

To be honest 0:51 should have been the reaction of every fan to txt at their mama performance but msnake messed it up So what moa is a strong fandom. Txt's performance as always is dazzling and full of confidence and more professional than those irresponsible, unprofessional msnake

Thank you for reacting to this and appreciate their masterpiece 💙 Mnet and mama is literally messing with the wrong fandom here. Moa is usually a quiet fandom but once you disrespected the boys, you're done. They literally did txt dirty like cutting soobin 's speech, delayed audio (txt hear different on their in-ear piece), the camera work also the worst ever! They didn't even put yeonjun on 4th gen thumbnail (but add on later AFTER THE FANS COMPLAINED) but what if we don't complain? I don't think they even know or care about it. It was so bad that bighit release this just a couple minute after txt finished performing on msnake 🐍 (usually they release few days after) TXT deserves better and i hope this doesn't happen anymore in the future!

I feel so happy now because I just love when people see TXTs talent and how hardworking they are 🥺 I am always impressed with how much energy and aura txt bring to a choreo. I literally have my notifs on for you waiting for when you upload txt reactions 😂 The pink paper confetti is actually the money they used for their loser=lover concept photos I don't know if I'm a hundred percent right but from what I understand during the broadcast of mama the audio they were hearing was pushed back,, I think the dancers (since they weren't wearing in ears) were hearing something different than what txt was hearing as they were performing and they both adjusted to each other's times and it got messy (ESPECIALLY THAT THIS CHOREO IS MEANT TO HIT THE BEATS SO WELL) Another thing was the camera work, during their frost performance, there were so many wide shots of the choreography and the thing about frost is that it's a concept type of performance and their expressions we're so important. The stage was also lit poorly so it was difficult to see anything really. AND TO TOP THIS ALL OFF, they didn't include yeonjun's picture in the first uploaded thumbnail of the opening stage but had all other artists on their and didn't include any txt member on the thumbnail of the video that compiled all the boy group performances (there were only 7 boy group performances and all other 6 artists were there) Let's also add that they turned off soobin's mic as he was speaking when they were receiving their award when literally he was just about to close and say thank you. Oh and if you want to watch the mama performance, the audio on the exclusively txt performance videos are the out of sync one that the audience got to watch live. If you watch their performance through the 'boy group compilation', they attempted to fix it and aligned the audio a little better in post but still got a little out of sync at the end ANYWAY thank you for your reaction, as a dancer I appreciate it when you point out things I also notice or things I missed. Good luck on figuring out the txt storyline!! It's a lot of fun and you can get really into trying to figure out what happens next. (Also patiently waiting for your angel or devil and puma reactions cause I like those choreos hehe)

This dance practice is SO CRISPS!!! I love how you hold yourself not to pause or make noise in the first reaction, because that's what I always do as well. I don't want to interrupt my first experience with my own broken screaming voices🤣

I really love your reaction, and yeah MAMA fucked it up, it's regretful and all, but well, nothing we can do. I have no knowledge in dancing whatsoever, but I have always feel like their choreography is always sharp like you said so I love their dances so much, but when other people covered their dances, I didn't like it because the sharpness is gone and I couldn't feel the impact of the dance so I conclude that it's very hard to be as sharp. I was never like this before, I love dance covers, but with TXT it's hard to find one that makes me feel things.
