TXT: MAMA 2021 Performance + Dance Practice Reaction!

Today, I wanted to bring you my reaction to the TXT MAMA 2021 performance AND the dance practice. thank you so much for pointing out the sync, everyone was saying that (and I fully believed it to be true) but I just could not notice it for the life of me so you putting it side by side really helped, I just knew the dance practice seemed better haha

Thank you once again for this,we appreciate your efforts regardless of the sabotage MAMA did to the boys.The inner-ear audio was ok but the outside sound was lagging/delayed abt 2 seconds that is why they noticed it after they monitor their performance as they always do after they perform

Thanks for the reaction to the dance practice MAMA sabotaged TXT, from poor lighting, poor focus, audio lag, cut off Soobin's speech 🥺, excluded Yeonjun from the group dance thumbnail photo You were really disappointed MAMA. But TXT had a great job, proud of them! 💙

thank you for the reaction and for editing the comparisons! i believe mnet tried (keyword: *tried* as it still is a little bit offbeat) to fix it because i remember watching it live (and some moas did comparisons too right after bighit dropped the dance practice) and the audio for the dance break was, like a second off. we are mad because it feels like the effort the boys (and the staff too!) did to be as synchronized with the music as posible was in vain, it wasn't as impactful as it was supposed to be if it hit every beat were it was intended :/ txt and their dancers, choreographers and other staff have expressed their disappointment with how their performance was presented to the public. and you can see it was just a broadcast issue, because the backup dancers and txt were still synchronized with each other regarding the camerawork i agree its not the worst i've seen but we need to have in mind the key point of frost's choreography is their facial expressions, and mama showed almost everything except their faces 😭 i feel sorry for the boys, they were so excited the most about mama's performance and it ended like this :( sorry for ranting in your comments, i still feel salty about everything that happened that night T_T and sorry for any grammar mistakes or poor phasing i may have as english isn't my first language T_T

I don’t have a dancer’s eye at all but after they uploaded the dance practice right away I was amazed that even I could tell there was a significant problem with the mama one. I watched a video that compared the two in spots where it really was completely off and I know why the members have said they are regretful but they really performed amazingly regardless imo.

Imho the camera and audio was off! But TXT gave a great performance knowing that there was a synch problem. They have such skills.

As much as I want them to not appear there anymore, TXT will always perform for the MOAs whatever it is so mama should level up and not make any mistakes anymore. It is even viewed as one of the biggest year end award show and then that happened. Anyways, continue voting for txt on sma and save up for the next comeback.

MOA like only one Drama - by TXT, their song from Eternity. And the drama MAMA brought to us is so unneeded… I hope TXT just don‘t visit MAMA next year: 1) mama didn‘t add Yeonjun to the thumbnail while mnet added ALL other 5 artists; 2) mama cut off Soobin‘s end of speech; 3) audio is un-synchronized!!! Artists hear different music in their in-ears; 4) worst camera work….. I‘m sure it all was ON PURPOSE. MAMA thought , it could mess with txt because MOA are quiet and kind fandom? Hell no. When kind people are angry, this is the scariest thing.

Idk Army tend to believe everything is about BTS. None of the major 3rd Gen players were there ( BTS, TWICE, BLACKPINK , or SEVENTEEN). It could be BTS or it could just be MAMA messing up. It wouldn't be the first time.

@@liyana_sadalee1662 If is not serious, they can't get banned because we are talking about a Big Hit artist. If Mnet get on Big Hit's bad side, they will never see BTS in any of their events or shows anymore (then Mnet/MAMA will be Music core and MBC gayo 2.0) But I really hope that there's nothing serious happening between BH and Mnet, because Mnet is owned by CJENM and both (CJ and BH) manage Enhypen (both created Belift) so this can even cause a dispute between CJ and HYBE (depending on BH's future decisions) Hopefully is just a problem with MAMA PD and not something deeper. Maybe they're just mad at Big Hit for not letting BTS assist to their show (or maybe for not creating a pre-recorded performance for them) I just hope this doesn't affect any of their artists :/ because the worst part is that BTS is a giant in the industry, but CJ is a conglomerate... so BTS are untouchable, but TXT aren't (in conclusion, they can use TXT as their punching bag)

It’s so crazy to me that people are popularly accusing the award show of “sabotage”. Here’s a list of why that’s… just not correct. 1) MAMA is a corporation. They make money and gain an image from the performances at their show just as much as the artists do. Sabotaging a performance means sabotaging themselves. 2) Again, MAMA is a corporation. There are people in charge of camera work, there are people in charge of sound, there are people in charge of organisation, etc. Having them all work in tandem to ruin certain parts of TXT’s night (from the syncing issue to the speech cut-off, etc) is maybe possible in a cult but not in an _enormous_ company where the employees all work under different people who then work under different people. 3) This isn’t… a movie. Don’t get me wrong, it’s awesome to protect TXT. (My 4th gen ult alongside SKZ- I love this group to death.) But MAMA isn’t a slighted Disney villain. You CAN make the argument that they put less time and attention into TXT’s performance than, say, JYP artists’, but you can’t make this a revenge story concerning BTS’s absence. 5) MAMA has always been unprofessional in many aspects. (ESPECIALLY in their god-awful camerawork.) This isn’t anything new. 6) Not everything TXT does, or that happens to TXT, is connected to BTS. And actually, the same goes for K-Pop. If there’s literally NOTHING linking BTS to a controversy… it probably just is how it is. Anyway, that’s my take. I truly don’t want to offend any fellow ARMY or MOA. I just think that some facts need to be laid out. *I don’t even know if anyone will see this lmao (probably not), but if someone does and they choose to reply- PLEASE know that I am not an anti. I see how these unpopular opinions usually go in the reply section, and I do NOT want that lol. Thank you.
