Im not even jin biased but his voice is wayyyy toooo underrated, like he stood out so much in this performance to me im not even joking. In other performances im mainly just focusing on v since hes my bias but its impossible to deny how amazing jins voice is especially at 2:39. When we dock our boats at Dokdo, we'll witness a new dawn together. The songwriter's parents had to leave two sons and a daughter in North Korea during the war. His father's dying wish to him was "when Korea reunite, go find your older brothers and sister and tell them that their parents did not abandoned them"

I just want to point out Jimin's low notes. With the usual BTS songs he usually sings some of the highest notes and we don'y often hear him sing low. He did it so well and I just wanted to highlight that.

Eschic B I hate to be the one to tell you this, but if you're talking about the really low "arirarira" part, that's actually Jungkook's voice... ^^" This performance is lipsynched, and it seems like they may have made some sort of mistake (using the original instead of an altered version for example) with the audio. That's cos Jin is their ballad expert. In my head I have vocal line all under specialities - Jin is the ballad king, emotional waves of sound and when he hits those high notes he makes you feel something. Tae is the king of soul - his voice is like a warm hug on a cold winter's night. Jimin is the voice of pop - he is the best pop singer out of the 4. And Jungkook - he's vocal perfection, which is why he is the main vocalist.

I wonder if BTS arranged their part of Arirang - I actually think they did, but whomever arranged this song did a nice rendition of the original traditional version. The dance was a beautifully choreographed piece of art with some traditional Korean dance movements nestled in with the more contemporary and hiphop style of dance. The guys did a fantastic job with this opening; the singing and dancing was incredible and I love how Jimin especially, seems to be so proud of his heritage during this performance. I can not not mention Jimin's jump/turn because it seems like he suspended himself midair- wow! Amazing!
