As an avid Siege player (PS5), I hate people that seek a clear unfair advantage over other controller players. I do not mind there being a skill gap. Because that is something that can be developed over time with more hours played. Some players use PRO controllers, and I don't mind that either, because it's still a controller and there are limitation. But having an equipment advantage such as Mouse & Keyboard is just wrong and stuff like that is what's destroying this game. If you want to play siege with M&k then play on PC. It sucks being on the opposite end and trying to compete with players that clearly are cheating. Come on man. Why SEEK and promote cheating? What's sad is that it's gotten so bad amongst the community, that it's now promoting a "if you can't beat em, join em" mentality.

Unfortunately cheaters are going to cheat I provide the info for educational purposes. It seems like ubisoft is actually serious about blocking them. It's a crap shoot on call of duty now

@@GearsAndTech as Ubisoft should. I heard you say that your new to the game. Just try to play in Champion Elo against M&K while on controller. Its damn near impossible. Additionally, players who use this type of cheat are also guilty of using wall hacks, aimbot (0 recoil), and drop shooting now, as if this was COD. I'm sorry, if you gotta cheat to win, then you don't deserve your rank. And I'm not talking about you specifically, I'm speaking in general. Players came to R6S because they wanted a more tactical shoot experience from COD. But with the TDM meta and M&K, siege is in its worst state. And it really is the player base from COD who ported over and is now dragging it down. That's why Ubisoft introduced the reputation system. To combat toxicity.

It’s hard to call it an “advantage” when literally everyone has the option to buy M&K. It’s not anyone’s fault but yours to not take the time to learn how to use it. It took me roughly 6 to 8 months before I was at a comfortable state. And guess what game I used to train myself? R6. Now, that’s when I was a kid and had the time. But once you learn it’s like riding a bike. You might be rusty at first. But after a few games you got it. So how is it cheating? Because you can hook up a controller to a PC, which MANY DO. and you don’t hear them bitching, now do you?

keep in mind any adapter will work on Rainbow six siege, the problem is when you play for a while they will put you on mouse trap and your are done with your cheap adapter.

i have no doubt that it will work during the tutorial or for the first 5 rounds you play but the way mouse trap works is you have to be playing in a match for a while before it can detect anything.. then once it does it will gradually increase the input lag - per match - after it is detected. once it detects you have stopped using it,the input penalty will then slowly be removed , but its takes a wile , so if you can spend a day learning how to play the game and get threw at least 10 rounds using the mnk , without the game picking up you are , it will be solid proof this will work , you doin a good job keep up the good work

Yes, i totally agree with you @BudFairy420, but lemme add a few points to it. As we know the anti-mouse trap works on detecting the movement that a controller is not able to do. Therefore, if you want to secure whether your gadget is working or not, you should do some more advanced movements. Here are the two suggestions: 1. Try crouching while you are in a gun fight (since this combination is nearly impossible for normal controller players, it will usually be detected as mnk) 2. Set a higher dpi (if your dpi is slow, it looks just what a controller could also do, that is not enough) If you could still play without penalty after testing out the impossible movements with enough matches in PvP (not terrorist hunting, i mean real matches) then, you can tell your gadget really works fine!

It's a temporary block. Log out and wait 39 minutes and it'll reset. Then adjust your settings to not get detected again
