My man is right. I came from the sideshow era. It was done to impress the ladies, dap the fellas. If you had a nice car that could get down, you would swang it and the city would be on you. This shit now, is a riot with cars. Guns, accidents, clapped out cars, people in the middle of the dance floor, and the lack of respect for others people's time in travel. Ex. Takeovers on freeways, bridges private neighborhoods. Now the heat is on the car guys. Old and new. You guys have f--ked the game. THANK YOU!

Three things that piss me off: 1) Takover nonsense that fucks things up for us. 2) People who swim or race through traffic and involve civilians (which scares people commuting or driving around with their kids - and they end up complaining and calling cops!). 3) Acting like a cop or snitching just to survive. That is rat behavior and if that is what I have to do to have an event, I'm good. There is a right way to race on the street and there is a right way to host an event. The problem is that out of a hundred, a couple of dumbasses will act up and ruin shit. It is best to do small private race events and don't let dumbasses even know about what's up. Really, we need more access to tracks so that we can keep it off the street. We went through this with skateboarding when I was a kid. We skated wherever we could and people hated it. Once we got skateparks built, everything changed bc kids had a place to do it. If we had accessible and affordable tracks to drive on, this shit would pretty much stop and we could differentiate the real racers from the takeover nonsense and dumbasses.

Time Stamp: 10:50 I say that to people all the time about street racing.. And when to get on your car and when not to.. There's a time and a place for that stuff.. Like if I have a friend in my car and he's doing the peer pressure thing and I'm like no.. Or if someone pulls up on me at a light, I'd rather meet up at a safe road where no one lives and there are no other cars.. And more over no one is getting in trouble.. Some time I will get someone at a light and they will be like oh I have a radar detector but that doesn't stop all the other people who are in their cars recording you with all this new tech built into their cars... You will end up on someone's KZbin channel street racing without your knowledge..

Maybe just.... put on a front plate if that's local law? Seems like a simple thing to do to take away a reason to be hassled. They don't care if its a stupid rule. To them its just a reason to engage.

I have never been pulled over for no front plate specifically out of all the cars I’ve had I’ve never had a front plate and if you look around our Texas roads 1 out of every 10 cars you see will have a front plate, the police force was using this minor rarely enforced violation to have probable cause to pull over anyone coming from TX2K, I met a cop a couple weeks after TX2K and he was told by the chief to do exactly that, he even he went to a TX2K meet in his personal car and got pulled over for no front plate… 😂

You can drive around with expired registration and expired paper plates here and never get pulled over. The cops just rather waste time bothering people who are going to organized car events.
