Manual doesn't imply the shift. It implies the clutch. Automatic transmissions advertised the automatic torque converter when production first started. Thats what the world was referring to when they said "automatic transmission". That was when the world made sense. Thats what im gonna stay with.

Honestly manuals are overrated, had the SMG in my e46 M3 and it was a clutchless sequential manual like the car will not shift for you! & it's been the same with my f80, i daily my cars & I've been driving for far too many years to have to keep balancing a clutch in traffic just so the car community thinks I'm cool, it's just overrated
