Brandstrotter is such an amazing player, just improving the same groove for over eight minutes and never letting the energy go. It's just incredible. I wanna be able to do that, too

Amazing playing at the end of a full concert. And probably the best band intro I’ve seen too

I am in absolute awe of all these players, the trombonist is absolutely first class & faultless. As well as the humour (Which finishes a distant second) it's their musicinship which is perfect. These guys would walk into any of the major Symphony Orchestras in the world. A joy to watch & hear.

What can you say that hasn't already been said about these guys. I remain in awe of their talent.

I had the good fortune to see this group live when they were in Pennsylvania back in 2016. Did the classic fawning fan thing and got a pic with Thomas Gansch and got tongue-tied with Leonhard Paul. :)

I had the pleasure of listening to this song live in Trieste a few days ago, I had to close my eyes to try to hold back the emotion. These notes made me dream. Thank you guys!

I held a Gansch Horn a few years ago....felt VERY strange when you're used to a 2-valve G drum corps soprano bugle!
@Down_is_now_up5 ай бұрын
I've heard it's designed like that to be easier to play with one hand, but can't quite see how. Did you try?
@samsignorelli5 ай бұрын
@@Down_is_now_up I didn't, although I know Thomas does elsewhere in the larger vid this one is drawn from. The rotary vales DO have less "throw" than uprights, which seems to make valve actions faster.

The lady at o7:16 is quite the most beautiful woman I have ever seen and as a rampant albeit ageing old jazz playing git, I have seen a few. She will be in my mind until earth's last (for me) jam session! Anybody know her email address? or even her lucky husband?
