Thank goodness for the country channel on SKY I regularly channel hop and came across Mo. Im actually staggered to find this young man isn't yet a major star, I showed my daughter a picture and she said he looked like a 90s boy band member and then I played her Country and she couldn't believe the look and the voice. Dont know if it is the look that not working for him or the style of country he sings and writes but its exactly the type I think of as Country. So having listened to, and bought, his album I went looking for more on KZbin and am stunned as I love Bluegrass and there are some stunning uploads, I particularly like the stuff with John Myers. Love finding new artists and wish him every success.

I've watched just tonight 5-17-2020 for the first time this young man Mo Pitney, my first question is he any relation to Gene Pitney of the 60's. That is no, he stated his Dad plays pedal steel guitar. Mo's voice whether he is talking or singing is so clear that even me being a man I love to hear that voice, both singing and talking. My understanding is also he believes in Jesus, that is the top priority, not his talent. It is quite obvious Mo's talent comes from God, and I think he realizes that. My hope is he never losses the humbleness and knowing what God has done for him!!

The powers in Nashville will ask him to change. And if he does not. He will fade into the distance. Unfortunately. I thought Josh Turner was going to be the "one" to bring it back. He had the look and appeal and talent. This guy dosent exactly have "the look" that they need to push artists. It is a SAD reality. But we will need MANY more of these young artist to come into town before we can lose this "new country shit crap"

Me too... What they call country now is not what I would call country... Sonny James, Don Williams, Gene Watson just to name a few. When they sang you could understand the words and the words told a story... As far as a young man singing I find Scotty McCreery sounds a lot Conway Tweety.. Love his voice.. Just hope we have some more of the same.
