28:24. I like these long videos, I play them in the background, listen, and look up occasionally as I'm working on my crawlers, drift car, and race buggies

Thanks Logan for all of your content on the rocks. I use your vids and commentary as educational. Once I started watching, about 6 months ago, my driving has gotten WAY better and I understand how a truck will react. Keep em coming, I got a lot to learn!

Crawler Canyon's sense of dry humor is part of the fun and what an amazing course/yard he's developing. I also enjoy your content whether it's the short or longer form. I've learned so much from your commentary on what you're looking for and doing during the wheeling. It's awesome
@just_inolredneck83192 жыл бұрын
I like the content.. it’s always good and a teaching experience.. and the whole Matt’s off-road recovery was awesome! And I don’t mind the longer videos.. cause well the content is always great stuff.. so keep up the great work man!
@arsonist30132 жыл бұрын
The big difference between the two is your tires. I run the pins on me bully and feel like they fold/conform more readily than thicker walled tires. I would try running the same set on each rig for a fairer comparison.106 degrees, holy shit! I cry around when it's 90°. Great content man, love the longer videos.

You’ve done me a huge favor, was thinking I wanted a comp setup but after watching your vids I realize they aren’t for me. Super fragile and more like an insect than a truck/buggy to me. Love the channel, keep up the good work

Hmmm. I thought the opposite with my MOA. Very little to go wrong or break. Compared to 2 diffs. A transfer box. Gear box. Etc etc etc. I'd have killed a scaler many times over over the last 2 months. The moa. A few new servos due to user error.
@donday15162 жыл бұрын
I noticed your unhappy with the radio used with the moa, particularly lack of front dig. So, what radio would you suggest for a newbie to acquire

This is a great video and a really entertaining watch. As a new RC addict the full length videos with the tips and instruction is vital. Personally I appreciate the chatter..it lets me know why you pick the lines you do. Helps me understand more how the trucks tend to perform under different situations.
@elusivemite2 жыл бұрын
22.25 minuites when you took the reverse. The rear wheels look like weren't square on to the climb.(hard to tell with the angle) Sometimes you can bounce it around gently with a few stabs of throttle wheel closest to the face bounces and let's the opposite wheel nudge in just enough to get some front dig traction to in pull you back around. Really enjoy your moa/sporty videos.
@Just_Wimski1130 Жыл бұрын
Yes rear dig is very useful and I do use it alot! I have a Futaba 4pl and have a spare one new in the box as spare from times where I drove alot.

Well that was entertaining lol. Definitely interesting seeing the differences between the 2. I've got independent control of my front and rear drive on my MOA but no where enough drive time. The wheels are yet to see dirt....

Looking at the tires on the MOA .. old school red rocks by Imex wouldn’t be beneficial if chopped and trimmed!? Those ledge grips would probably work over easier on the edges on the crawl up side. !???

Hey great video. First off I would love to point out how ridiculously awesome that 360 was at the beginning of the video and how you were able to keep it on its Wheels I thought it was flipping over for sure. And also i love watching these comp crawlers so incredible what they're able to do and it was really interesting seeing a shaft driven version of that I've never seen one before I've only seen the moa Bully and Clod buster axle setups. Are people still running clod buster axles or is it mainly just the bullies.

Why no one does rear wheel steering on the MOAs? Looks like it would be an obvious improvement.
@westdesertwheeler2 жыл бұрын
Adds more rear weight. People do. I’ve driven one. I wanted to learn the car before adding rear steer. Also in the competitions it is not allowed
@elusivemite2 жыл бұрын
I do run rear steer. Plenty of spots I saw there I'd have got past with a little rear steer. Find the rear weight advantageous though I do have a little more at the front to compensate.

Why did you get rid of the Phoenix? Now that they've dropped the price 20%, I'm really contemplating getting one. The only thing holding me back is I'm afraid it's a pricey unit for what performance it actually provides. Like you I have numerous capable rigs. Any thoughts you'd like to share?

I wonder if two hobbywing fusions in the Moa would give it more of a "connected" feel like it was shaft driven since they would try and keep wheel speed the same.

Kinda off topic question, but what kind of camera are you using to shoot your crawler videos? I drive over the road and was gonna start doing something like "Crawling Across the Country" and be in a different location every time. Designed to be customized to the individual driver. I love the drop down steering wheel. And for both crawlers - you only need the Pro. I sold the Rugged…
