thanks! these videos make me want to see my family and go jeeping! Also, Moab is spectacular.

Great video. I think I’ve watched more of your jeeping videos than any others. What exhaust is on the white Jeep? Might want to suggest he let more air out? His Jeep seems more rigid than yours and your dads doesn’t appear to negotiate obstacles as well.

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoy them. the exhaust was on the jeep when he got it so he doesn't know what it is. He has always been a little hesitant to run pressures as low as ours, but also he has 33's and my Dad and I have 35's. also might be my Dad and i have had our jeeps longer and our suspensions are well broken in. Im leaving in a week for this years trip and it is going to be different...no white jeep, they just but a JL rubicon. can't wait to see how it does. thanks for watching!

@@slobert1970 Nice. I bet he’s excited about the JL. How do you like the 35’s vs the 33’s?

@@slobert1970 tell him with 33s on a 15 inch rim he can conceivably go all the way down to 12 psi before he has to worry about losing a bead. for rocks i usually go somewhere around 15-16 psi. 20-25 psi in mud and dirt, depending on how bad the washboard is.
@slobert19702 жыл бұрын
@@TheRedStateBlue I think he was around 12 to 13. but I feel his tires had a stiff sidewall. I used to run 10 on my 33's. now I'm running 9 on the 35's. haven't lost a bead yet. but we'll see.

@@blackjackshellac3886 Sorry I missed this comment somehow. I love the extra clearance and it feels like a little monster truck. for the trail I love it. but...honestly I think it was a better all around jeep on 33's. it is a bit of a hand full on the road now. I wouldn't want to daily it or do long road trips in it. thats not just the tires fault though, Its taller now, softer suspension with no rear sway bar and an auto locker in the rear. great on the trail and a little squirrely on the road. not undrivable squirrelly, but I woulnd't just toss the keys to anyone to drive it.

Are all you guys running 33” tires?

the white TJ is on 33's. the orange and green are on 35's. I used to run 33's on my orange jeep but stepped up to 35's after getting a custom rear axle, rear disc brakes and other goodies to do it right.

4 inch springs with 1 inch spacers plus 1 inch body lift. tummy tuck. SYE. 4:88 gears. cromo shafts front and rear. front is D30 with detroit trutrac. rear is custom D44 with the larger JK d44 center section and a grizzly locker. 35 inch patagonias. rock jock control arms up on top and lowers were Core in this video and upgraded to rock jock lowers after Core control arms failed. rear is converted to disc brakes. front run black magic pads and rotors. used rugged ridge bumper up front, trail gear rock sliders and good ole smittybilt rear bumper. hey its cheap. dont remember who makes the engine skid but its full length and bolted to the trans skid. winch is quadratec. its 9 years old. put one new motor in it. and it has served me well for the price. probably forgetting stuff so ask away if you have more questions.

@@slobert1970 that’s amazing! I watched your other videos with the 33’s, yeah that’s my dream setup. Did you have to do anything with motor mounts or anything? How did the trutrac’s work for you? I’m curious since I have a manual and my TJ is my DD/only vehicle.
