I imagine Moana 2 is out there to keep the idea in people's mind so when Dwayne's live action version comes out everyone is all caught up. As for Bonhoeffer, some folks on another site mentioned that it took a LOT of liberties and that upset a number of people who were actually into this guy. Weird double movie night for you Brad but thanks as always for the reviews!

You're probably right. After all, the 150 million this movie cost is a small price to pay to promote another movie outside of its own marketing budget. Good point.

Between The Lion King 2019 Remake and Frozen 2, I've lost faith in Disney. Anyone else?
@coolnerdlll6053Күн бұрын
I thought Frozen 2 was decent and Lion King wasn't good, but I don't hate it. Disney as a whole isn't what they were, but they've been through rough spots before and they can still do great things. Did nobody else see Onward, Soul, Encanto, Luca or Inside Out 2? Plus, as people still haven't learned with Star Wars, toxic influencers putting constant pressure on a studio is not helping.

I was supposed to see Moana yesterday, but my screening was sold out. I think when I eventually see it, it'll be perfectly fine and nowhere near the disaster people are lining up to call it. The quick production is concerning, but I'm not one of those people to judge something before I see it. At worst it'll be like Strange World where the animation saves it.
