I just started playing this game and I'm not sure if you have a video about it but it would be nice to see a video about what kind of setups are good for the AI. My AI allies so far hardly ever 1/4 of my damage sometimes it's really just 1/8, etc. I'm wondering if maybe I'm not building good mechs for them.

Yeah, that definitely sounds like a setup issue! I go over the topic a bit here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gorcZIWvjbyoisksi=10AV857-ZQcmDkFM&t=806 The basics are: Use weapons with similar ranges. So, don't pair LRMs or PPCs with SRMs, etc. For medium to short range, MLas go well with SRMs. For medium to long range, MLas go well with long range ACs & energy weapons. Beyond that, make sure you have plenty of heat sinks & keep weapon groups small. So, 2XMLas, 1XSRM6, 2XSRM4, etc. If you watch my vids on different weight classes, I also offer examples of player vs A.I. setups. One other thing... You should pick targets for your lancemates whenever possible. I usually just have the entire lance focus fire on a single target while I either backstab, or do force protection. Good hunting!

Damn I'm running behind on these videos, but I know you've been disappointed in the black knight. I've been loving it, I actually starting piloting it more than any other mech. My setup is upgrades; head dissipation with laser power upgrades, and ofcourse armor; all tier 3 lasers from large, medium, and small. Shot groups are 1: large/medium; 2: large/medium; 3: large/medium/medium/small; 4: all at once. If lucky I hit "4" in the head and be done if nothing else it's a one shot for any part seems like. After that I use trigger disclpline for 1 through 3 to manage heat. I recently found a whole lance of black knights and tried a mission. So far anything under 340tons I seem to steam roll with the AI using tier one or higher lasers, no upgrades.

Needed space for MW5 seems seems high... adding the Gambit, i had to uninstall several other games i play also. Should we start MW5 with just the latest DLC 🤔 and drop others? Or all the ALL essential to have?
