Same thing it’s only confusing cause the first original commission had alot non Italians on it but after the first generation around the 50s the commission/syndicate became pretty much all Italian, 5 NY mafia dons(Philly, Jersey, Florida Cleveland), Accardo n Ricca (Chicago n everything west of it) & Buffalo n Canada/Maggadino)

All that ceremonial stuff came with . The Castellamarese. Charlie didn’t care about all that. Frank was his own man until Charlie asked him to run the family. They business associates and Friends but I doubt if Frank or Vito pricked their fingers or any of that. I think the fact that Meyer was his trusted friend was more important.
