Max zweifach aka zwerbach, is a ashkanazi Jewish name. There is a famous crime writer named Carl Sifakis. My guess is it is an Austrian Jewish name or versions of the name.

I appreciate the quick response. Did your sources give you an explanation on why it says March 4 for DOB, instead of February 28? It's very important for me to get that name verified & as of right now, you're the only source I have found that gives that name with a potential reliable document. Incase you're wondering why I'm asking all of this, let this be a sign for you, I'm finally "raising out of my grave" as it was promised through Ezekiel in chapter 37. Glory to the King of Israel, HaMashiach Yeshua. He's raising His Reapers up.

The Jews controlled the dope trade all through the teens and 20's. Think Arnold Rothstein, Mr. Big. Note that until 1914 heroin and all dope was LEGAL in the USA. You get it at the pharmacy over the counter!

I've always found the gangsters of the Lower East Side, around the turn of the century and before (Before organized crime, as we know it today) to be rather intriguing. It's to my understanding that allegedly, when a Judge Scudder sentenced Poggi to "one year in Elmira", which actually meant that he would only do about 5 months, with good behavior, Poggi expressed in a snarling tone of voice, "What's five months? I could do that standing on my head." Speaking as an ex con myself, that's about the earliest account that I know of this expression.

Good video, but it's pronounced Al-ba-mar-lul. Stephen Root was so good on Boardwalk Empire. He deserves a lot more credit. And isn't it funny (in a bad way) that after everything Means was accused of, he could still get a job at the FBI?

I'm impressed he wasn't linked to any murders. I didn't think that was possible. I take it James Coins shot Solomon because he was drunk and jealous of his success...? Was that Solomon's character, he'd short change his staff? Or was Mrs. Ponzi running a scheme?

Galante was as greedy, as he was fearless. Anyone who attempts seizing supreme power over criminal organizations like he did, becomes the target of many dangerous men. Dude knew it. But he just didn't care, as he was dangerously fearless and extremely obsessed with power.
