I wish Reggie and James would just do a podcast together. I like listening to all the stories from the Death Row days. Seems like everybody nowadays claim they were there for this and there for that. However when Reggie and James tell it I feel like it's all 100% facts. That's why i always stop and watch for real cuz back then there wasn't no social media and stuff like that. When I was growing up we really didn't know a lot of this stuff except for things you might have read about or something.

iirc that 6 year agreement started from the time dre signed with ruthless. so from 87/88 to about 93/94ish. i dont even think eazy's estate made any money off of California love either. eric passed in 95 before the pac record was made. there was a period of time dre didnt make music because he was in debt to DR, interscope, etc, other personal stuff was going on. producing for em actually saved him professionally and personally.

This is the Real Timeline: NOV 1989 - DOC gets into an accident. 1990 - This led to Suge and Dre looking at their contracts. They said DOC was getting a Rolex for writing songs and had that in the contract. 1990/91 - Suge and James and them went to Ruthless office to get all their artist contracts (Dre, DOC, ATL, Michel'le) April 91 - Dr Dre sets up Eazy to meet with him at Solar records. Suge came with Buntry and other Goons. Late 91/Early 92 - Ruthless hires Mike Klein for security

Sound like mid 90 and beginning of 1991 was when Dre started complaining during The last album was being done when it was mixed there was a bunch of legal obligations Dre only did a couple of appearances the tension was there on 10. So maybe around August of 91 was when Eazy was confronted by Suge hence Deep Cover was recorded October/November released April 92 Suge was at the wet and wild party in 1990 no sign of trouble maybe Suge asked to read Dre contracts mid/late 90 they denied him maybe June 91 was when Mob and Suge went to Ruthless
