After watching this video I'm going to officially say Pac was a member of Mob. James said himself they didn't have an official way of putting on.. But he also said he didn't consider himself a Leader nor Shot Caller.. Pac was also a businessman who got put down by the Little Homies.. He also admits that Bountry out of his own mouth said Pac did certain things that put Pac the Mob! So Pac was Put on by Bountry & Tray & the rest of the a little homie. So again out of his own mouth Pac "took penitentiary chances" in the MGM & other fights" I also believe James would say that a few other cats he don't like were not really Mob.. His brother who he respects felt that Pac was "wit tha business!" He just wasn't around to see it & that doesn't make it not true.

MOB to Tupac meant Money Over Bitches, and he used that acronym as an excuse to say it and show them he was down with them. And not as a gang banger, as a homie. That’s my theory, would love to hear what Reggie thinks of it. EDIT: Plus Pac said it himself sooo 🤷🏽♂️

@@reggiewright Understandable. But look at most of the fights Pac got into while he was on Death Row… were they over gang beef or did they always have something to do with the label? Things like this show it was more of a Death Row thing for Tupac than anything Gang related.

My 2 cents. Not to glorify anything but organized crime (mafia) is on another level to street gangs. Pretty sure 2pac mentality was more aligned with mafia principles (at least tried to be or perceived to be) over street gangs. I would consider 2pac to be more mafia oriented than street gang oriented. Pretty sure 2pac was leaping over street dudes regarding ranks. He was no pawn. As the evidence shows he had a hit out on him & was marked for death regardless of the Vegas incident. Jumping Orlando had nothing to do with his death. Death was coming regardless and nothing to do with petty street gangs. Why nobody never address the fact that Puffy had to answer to people? 2pac came down to mingle with street gangs but he didn't belong there, he was above that. He was leaping his way over low level grunts and on his way to becoming a boss & some people don't like that. 2pac was no grunt. He had bigger ambitions. 2pac skipped the grunt "level" and people are jealous. Don't let his celebrity status fool you. He wasn't soft. You don't have to be a trigger man to be a boss i.e Michael Franzese. Janitors clean...the boss doesn't. I agree with James, 2pac was no janitor and no business getting involved in petty cleaning politics.

For some reason square Pac fans think they understand Damu and Kiwe culture and cite lyrics from Pre-Death Row Pac as evidence that Pac was not a Piru 😂. Pac NEVER shouted MOB prior to coming to Death Row. It stands for Mob Piru, plain and simple (and yes, MOB is used as an acronym for Money Over Bitches, Members of Blood, and other things; but it’s a Blood acronym in their neck of the woods, period). Furthermore, Suge didn’t allow the gang affiliated artists on Death Row to blatantly bang their affiliations on records, which is why no square knew that Snoop was a Crip when he was on Death Row (the most he did was throw up Rollin 20s in photos and use minimal Crip subliminals). Snoop didn’t blatantly represent the Crips in his music and videos until he got with No Limit. But yeah, Pac was Mob Piru.
