There’s just something about Charlie Rose’s format that’s perfect for these mob interviews, can’t get enough of them!

I purchased Ragano's book based on the fascinating premise, and my obsession with the Tom Hagen character played by the great Robert Duvall in The Godfather. This book written with the help of Selwyn Raab doesn't disappoint! It has a wealth of insight and information about the mafia during the height of its power in the middle twenty century.

I use to love watching Charley Rose on Channel -13 PBS TV. Brooklyn, New York, in the early 1990's.

Wow. After going down the J.F.K. assassination rabbit hole several times. This video is as close to the source of the "Real J.F.K. assassination story" as I have seen. Thanks

B.S. LHO was a patsy that had no idea what he was going down for. LHO shot no one Nov 22 1963. Don't be naive.

What Bobby Kennedy did to Carlos was awful. Pick him off the streets (Carlos) deported him to a place in some jungle in another country. Drop him in street clothes in the middle of nowhere. But after 3days he found some little town saved his life. I'm sure he was pissed at Bobby Kennedy.
@FatherDyer19902 жыл бұрын
The whole dropped off in the middle of the jungle story was very exaggerated and isnt true. But he was deported against his will. He was sent to a Guatemalan military base and then a hotel.
@bradr19132 жыл бұрын
@@FatherDyer1990 just the timing of the whole deal. What was goin on with Hoffa and traffacante throw in Carlos . Bobby was really flirting with fire.
@danieldimino46222 жыл бұрын
I would be very pissed at him to say the least lol....Kennedy basically had him kidnapped and dropped off in the middle of nowhere...crazy abuse of power right there crazy man

@@DaveSCameron isn't it nuts still to this day the immigration system is broken. He probably used several countries but Kennedy knew he was from Italy and was Italian as much as he was Irish.
@sabot4ge2 жыл бұрын
@@bradr1913 he wanted to be dropped off in guetemala because he had shipping companies that went from florida/new orleans to guatemala. He jumped on a ship and came back. He actually got one of his ships to pick him up in Mexico.

Ragano being active in the FL bar has nothing to do with it. The privilege belongs to the client, not the lawyer, and it lasts past the death of the client

Interesting interview. Not a fan of Rose who was hung up on Oswald as a lone shooter, but then much has been learn in the intervening years.

I think Frank Ragano's book was a nice read, and 40% bunk...I think he exaggerated to promote the book and I don't blame him..He was just trying to leave money for his family

I have always found Frank Ragano to be completely believable. The way he talks about Trafficante and his confession (he discusses ir nmore in other interviews than here) has a strong ring of truth. His story is one of the best pieces of evidence of a conspiracy.

i remember when Kennedy was killed the mood the country was shock and sadness. For the next several years many schools, airports, streets and other public and private institutions were named after Kennedy. At the time if there was evidence the mafia had anything to do with Kennedys death I think there would mass vigiliantism against the mafia. I think blaming the mafia diverts attention from who ever actually did it.

I sincerely apologize Sir, but referring to them as Guys is most inappropriate; they are businessmen out there working and making money; clearly no different from someone who is working at Wall Street ripping off poor hardworking people for their hard-earned money.
