I've seen a lot of different explanations for why the third song is called "1", but if you think about it, 100% is just 1 because that's how percentages work. 100% is the whole, the 1. Mob is whole (hopefully, I haven't read the webcomic or manga).

Also if you listen to the full song, the end of this song starts with the heat monitor sound of the 99 song, the first op. So it goes in a circle. So this is one, then 99, then 99.9, then back to one.

The third opening is called 1 because if it was 100, that would be the bad ending, each time Mob went 100, it wasn't for good reasons (I think), and if you read the manga, it makes more sense because of a certain something. There needs to be balance.

Going to throw out a weird suggestion, if you haven't done it already look into the Domestic Girlfriend OP. Pretty whatever show, not super worth checking out as an anime, but that OP hits HARD! I've never seen someone pour so much raw emotion into their vocals before! I've heard it's apparently their first anime song, too, with the singer doing all the instrumentation on her own, which is nuts! Definitely worth looking into, super worth the watch/listen. Also, of course, gotta throw out Chainsaw Man. Just good anime, great adaptation, super weird OP that slaps. Another special shout out to the Kakegurui OPs, both of them are just smooth as crap and work really well. The spinoff, Twins, has a pretty weak one, though... One last weird one, the OP to Baki Hanma. Why? Well, it's pretty solid, but also trying to guess what the show's about based on the visuals is hilarious. This series is hype as fuck, it's insane, and anything that covers even a bit of what's going to happen is always a pretty wild ride.
