this anime has many great fights but i't also focuses on characters and world building. There are episodes with no fights at all but if you like the characters and the world, you wouldn't mind one bit. This is one of the better Isekai genre anime out there.

The animation leaves a lot to be desired, but the pacing and plot beats are admittedly good imo. They did the best they could with pacing. The source material’s worldbuilding is the best of isekai I’ve seen tbh. Other isekai might have more character development or interesting plot progression, but worldbuilding itself? No. Not even Mushoku Tensei or ReZero would have entire arcs about how some backwater inhuman races like lizard men were affected by the main characters. The world feels like it evolves with the characters.
