With girls, I think there's an added element of thinking guys our age are immature finding someone who has stability and an established lifestyle attractive; maybe guys too, but I definitely hear girls saying that more. I think older women/men might seek harder to seduce, so younger people get an ego boost when they get attention from someone older? To be honest it also makes me uneasy, I hate to say it but it feels very Freudian? To me it feels like sometimes younger people (mostly guys lol) want someone who's a parental figure on top of being a partner 🫤
