A lot of really good looking games here. I think Emberbane might be my favorite from what i've seen. Super fluid and fast combat and platforming with Avatar: the last airbender elemental powers looks amazing.

We had the last nite that was shown for the first time in 2016, maybe even sooner. Then came replaced, set initially for release in 2022. Current news from the developers predicted 6 hours of total gameplay time. These pixel art / 3D shooter games are literally black holes of development. No one can complete the projects.

Emberbane had the most original enemies, but I don't like the fallen angel theme. Overall, maybe the strongest one for me was the Beastmaster. There's one or two here I will definitely skip!

Who is asking for these games? Indie devs are so goddamn lazy. They just choose either a cute or dark theme, choose either pixel or 3D, slap an anime aesthetic on it, ship it out, and like 17 weebs, Brazilians, and Brazilian weebs go nuts over it for a week and then you never hear about them again. The only Metroidvania worth a shit that released after Super Metroid or Castlevania: Symphony of the Night that actually did something substantial and original was Blasphemous and its sequel. And before some virgin trips over themselves to hit me with an ACKCHUALLY, Hollow Knight was cutesy pretentious garbage for people who watch too much anime.
