There is a lot more to this story. The case against Lee Lucas was weak. None of the people called to the stand could positively I.D. Him as the shooter. Most of the evidence was circumstantial. The ballistics test never proved beyond the reasonable doubt that the rounds fired came from Lee Luca’s gun. The prosecution just insinuated that the victim was shot by this caliber round and Lee Lucas may have had that caliber gun. Anybody that was around at that time will tell you that that would be the equivalent of walking into a room full of people with glocks , a Glock convention or some shit and saying: “somebody got shot with a Glock, his Glock must’ve done it” , with no finger prints or dna evidence found on the scene, no witnesses and no surveillance. This was Menace to society time, the Glock was a very popular gun and the victim had a lot of enemies. Each aspect of this case can be pulled apart and put back together in a way that could prove that Lee Lucas was not the perpetrator of the crime he is accused of. Lee Lucas never got a fair trial.
