Mobile Angling - Carp in the Margins

Cadence Fishing TV visits Packington Sommers fishery near Coventry this week. As the nights get longer, the opportunity for quick late afternoon into evening sessions become a mainstay for many anglers. In this session, James Robbins fishes into the evening using a mobile, roving approach, fishing light and targeting fish from various swims. Fishing in the margins with a light waggler or float ledgered, produced a great catch with carp to 8lbs, bream, crucians and a big brown goldfish!

Very nice! Thank you! Waggler...This is brilliant metod. Today im fishing on the Volga river and im using slider float 5 gr. whith Daiwa waggler rod 13 ft. Bloodworm and very-very simple handmade groundbaits. The end in this session- 20 pounds (lbs ) beautiful skimmers. Im champion, because many anglers whith different feeder nothing caught. Gentl rigs- key to succes.

Very interesting video! I used to fish this tecnique in very short sessions in summer mornings. I used to try catch the carp under the shadows of the branches in the margins. The problem was I need to be alone in the lake! Thanks for the video!

nice video James I notice that you use terry Eustace pro gold line could you please tell me were you get yours from the shop at Bicester I used to get mine as closed and on amazon they only seem to sell black and the same on ebay its one of the best lines I have used hope you can help thank you

The 2nd fish was fail hooked it was bleeding from the fin when you put it back

I’m sure the blood was from my finger not the fish! I cut my finger opening a can of corn. You can see a close up of the cut at 30.53.

It was definitely fail it can up sideways and you can clearly see you taking the hook out of its fin at 18.36
