Palworld is a fantastic example. They had 5-6 devs to create the game and only a $10,000 budget. Literally not one single dev knew a single thing about making games. They had a designer that had enough experience to somewhat teach them basics. They created one of the most successful game launches in a very long time. With no experience and hardly any budget.

As far as I've got to know about the engines and I also made few samples on Unity and Unreal engine, these 2 are the best. Any can choose according to his complexity. Unity is easy to grasp and Unreal will require lot of things to learn as well.

I've tried many engines and all I can say is use fucking Unity ,best engine by far it has nice UI,good and easy programming language C# and you shouldn't worry about the 125 a month if you can make 100k a year lol.

I'd say Godot is better for newbies, Its low size makes it a best fit for everybody including people with potato computers and for optimized games. I also love scenes and nodes, makes the project not only look nicer but also more organized. It's also free with all the features since it's an open source project, you can also modify Godot in case you there's something you want to add or change. The best thing about it is the programming language it specializes. It runs on GDscript which is a customized version of Python, which is most likely our very first programming language. It is it's exclusive script which means it is optimized to work with Godot. Overall, 10/10 would never change...

Your Unity information is out of date. The current version is actually 2018.2.15, which was released 2 days after this video was posted. Which means the at the previous release would have been Unity 2018.2.14... Unity 2018.2.13, etc. Unity 5 was current in 2016, succeeded by Unity 2017 in 2017. It's a great engine, but there are some MAJOR differences between Unity 5 and Unity 2018. Otherwise, good video.

Well GDevelop has really bad performance on mobile devices(and sometimes on Windows and Mac too). It might be a good practice before you actually start coding, but it is definitely not the one that you wanna develop games if you have serious ideas. I would say Godot or Unity if you're reasonably good in coding and also it has very good mobile performance after exporting since it builds apps natively

@Abhishek Thapliyal Hi. I think GDevelop is using Javascript for 'wrapping' the game. That is like, you bundled the game with a browser and play on your phone. So, can you guess what will happen? The size and the performance of the game will be really bad. This is the same with Construct 2 & 3.

@Abhishek Thapliyal Even though I'm not a fan of Buildbox but trust me, non-native (GDevelop) vs native (Buildbox) is a one-sided match. Native will always beat non-natives. I don't know why I mentioned Javascript there though. Anyway, maybe your game is an optimized one so that's good for you! But, think about the low-end phones too, alright? Bye! Hi, i have a small group consists of faily limited role, we only have: 5 people with multirole (Programmer and digital artist at the same time) and 1 Marketing expert, sure we can still make games, but it's quite slow and fixing bugs require more times because of the multirole, its like having a 4 core 4 thread cpu used to run 8 programs at the same time. Do we be able to compete the overload number of games in mobile market? If not, we'll just go on Windows, because as the statistic shown, the competition values are much lower than the mobile platform has
