Mobile Home Clean With Me! Welcome to my homemaking motivation video where I take you on a Day In The Life type of video in my Tiny Mobile Home. My old trailer is 455 square feet. To get my mobile home in better condition I had to do a bare bones budget renovation. My small mobile home may not be big but it feels larger because of how I set it up! This video is different from what I usually make like food pantry hauls but I do hope you enjoy it! I also have some frugal living tips in this video as well as a Kitchen Hack and I move some things around. I hope you enjoy this day in the life of living in my office trailer. Living in a one bedroom, one bathroom trailer can be a challenge. I bought the best single wide I could afford. It needed a good old fashioned mobile home cleaning plus renovations. My renovation budget was too small to do the house design I wanted. Instead I put in endless hours of mobile home cleaning. I hope you enjoy my mobile home weekend vlog!

CLEAN WITH ME!
My Singlewide Mobile Home is not big but it's a great opportunity to make the most out of what I have! My home decorating ideas for my living room is focused on furniture placement and my favorite fabrics and patterns. I applied an interior design principle in my trailer that may not be obvious because I do not have the finest furnishings. I used symmetry! It works in any home on any budget. You can make a nice space for yourself, it takes creativity when your budget is low or non-existent.
MOBILE HOME CLEAN WITH ME & FRUGAL LIVING
It is a blessing to have a home that I can offer homemaking motivation videos to help you make the most out of what you have! In my mobile home spend the day with me you would find me tidying up and putting things in designated spaces. Mobile home homemaking means making the best home I can using what I got! I use fabric storage containers housing off-season items and supplies under the bed. This is one of my interior design tips for Storage so I can store items out of sight.
MOBILE HOME HOMEMAKING:
This video is a day in the life of mobile home living! One necessary step I must take is keep the floor space clear. I make my home look more neat and tidy by putting things away. When you live in a small home, try to utilize space the best you can so you can safely walk within your home. Create a defined pathway to avoid tripping. If you would see a mobile home clean with me then you'd find me clearing the path in my home, so I can safely walk around! The struggle is real and it's important to create a routine that works for you! My floors are down to the sub flooring. It may not be the prettiest but it's what I'm working with.
The space is a minimalist home tour but the amount of things I have do fill up the space quickly. I had to figure out how to maximize a tiny space. I make my space work for me and improve as I go. When I can, I upgrade items to better quality items.

Keeping your floors clear will help your home feel large! Design your space with storage in mind so you can get the most out from your furniture. When I moved here, I had very little furniture, it took time to build up to what I have today.
FRUGAL LIVING
Living in a small singlewide mobile home has challenges. It would be easier if I had a "junk room" but I have to work with what I got. I have one closet housing a water heater. The closet has room to store items which I utilize to the max. Use what you've got, buy what you can, and make the most out of your home whether you live in an apartment, in a mobile home trailer or any other kind of home. You can make a nice home! Going to the thrift store and dumpster diving to decorate your home takes time, so give yourself plenty of room to be creative!

My friends in NYC don't have a full kitchen. They just have a mini fridge and toaster ovens. I have a friend here in Virginia that didn't replace her stove when it tore up. She says she uses her air fryer 90% of the time.

It's a great way to live! I love my Air Fryer, it's been a real treat to have. Whenever I look at brand new stove prices, wow, they are very pricey items. Seems $500 on sale is considered a good deal today for a new stove. I remember when I could get a good used car for $500! Times have changed!

I hope the repair goes seamlessly for you! I like the "basic" appliances too. New appliances today are not built like the old-school appliances that would last a lifetime or at least 10-20 years. I hear because new appliance technology has "motherboard" electronics, is why. I have my eye on a 1990's espresso maker at the thrift store. I'm hoping to get it once the price goes down.

Most of my clothing is from the thrift store and it's great to build a wardrobe at low prices! The slider burgers were so yummy, loved having that meal. The tomatoes were the best!

Hi! Just wanted to share this information with you all. The entire plant can be eaten. Wood Sorrel has a tart, lemony taste and is added in salads and paired with fish. The plant can be steeped in hot water to make tea. Because Yellow Wood Sorrel is high in vitamin C, it has been used to treat scurvy.

I have a raised garden bed and love it. Right now I am growing tomatoes, squash and cantaloupes. Funny last year cantaloupe plants all died this year they are overtaking the bed!😮

Hi Sarah! Another great video... Your improved living area setup is looking good. You definitely got some neat things thrift shopping. I believe your House of Prill ramekins belong to the poppy pattern they had (I always liked that pattern). The only thing I think I know about collecting stoneware is that the value is dependent on the maker and pattern. What I do know though, is that the candle holders you bought are very pretty. I enjoyed your meal prep this time (your sliders made me hungry)! I LOVE "everything bagel" seasoning. So much so that I now use a Trader Joe's copycat recipe and make my own (it's a lot cheaper for me this way since I use it so much). Enjoy the rest of your weekend and see you Tuesday.

When I buy clothing or textile from the Goodwill I use 2 or 3 cap full of Lysol from The Dollars Plus store along with my soap powder to wash the items in the washing machine.

Hi Sarah, How was the lavender tea? I know lavender can be overpowering in flavour. How is it tea wise? I miss plastic bags when I would get groceries. All you can use in Canada is reusable bags. The odd store has plastic bags but not many of them. I would use the plastic bags as garbage bags. Now I have to buy garbage bags.they are not cheap! 😅 There is nothing better than a fresh garden tomato and / or cucumber sandwich. They are the best. Your jeans design stitches looks very cute. I enjoy lavendar tea! It's also good steeped with chamomile. We still get plastic grocery bags in the USA. I use re-usable bags for my food pantry trips. I like both! Trash bag costs are high these days. I try to fill up the bag to the max and get the most I can out of it! The tomatoes were wonderful. Adding cucumbers sound yummy. The jeans fit me, yay! I have just watched some of your older videos and always wonder why you have not just got some boxes of the "Peel and stick" floor tiles to do your floors and cover up the plywood and seams?? it does not get any easier than that and you can cut them to go around anything and you would not have to keep taping stuff in front of your door and they are thin enough your door would still open. We put them in our bathroom a few years ago and have had no troubles whatsoever with them.

One of the reasons costs are remaining so high is because of the havoc the terrorist group from Yemen called the Houthis are causing. The attacks, which have been ongoing for months now significantly disrupt the flow of commercial goods through the Red Sea and the Suez Canal, an important route for trade between Asia and Western countries. Cargo ships have to detour thousands of miles out of the way and that has significantly increased shipping costs that are passed on to the consumer. The other reason is pure corporate greed which unfortunately cannot be legislated away in a democracy. Really enjoyed watching the food prep for the hamburg sliders!
