HoK has alot more complex heroes while MLBB is easier zo just pick up and play for casual players since most of the heroes are really simple and straightforward. HoK only has a few outliers like Daji who has basically no interesting mechanics and is just use S2 then click the other 2 buttons similar to the bulk of heroes in ML (ML does have some more complex and difficult characters but they are more of an exception for now).

In Mlbb the thing is it's a marksmen meta but that's my opinion , In addition to that even in domain of marksman some marksmen have better advantages compare to others like no other marketmen can counter it without help like liyla and Miya i have seen as these are the most abused hero's . Yeah, word. Played ML on/off since season 1. Saw hok on an ad, downloaded it, and tried it.. now in hooked on the game. Tried about every moba out there. I even tried the original Dota on WC3 like.. 20+ years ago. Hok is definitely one of the better games for phones, if not the best. Just my opinion, tho.

one thing i can say game(HOK) wise, they have this thing called pre-set your role before joining a match which is good as you will be matched with people who will not use that role(as they have pre-set there role to different one) and if some one did forcefully change in hero which is not suited to his role he had previously set in lobby, then it will be counted as rule violation and if we loose a match, others will not loose there star in rank.

The gameplay and lack of bans is pretty bad compared to MLBB. In HoK there are characters that don't seem to have good mechanics and that work in the game like Athena who needs some way to stay alive while using her combo, but there is no vampirism in HoK that works on skills like in MLBB (this is just one of the examples)

I feel like the heroes of HOK have a very generic design, I see nothing remarkable. For me, ML over exaggerates the character models with low 3d model sharpness but HoK focused on simplicity and the 3d model sharpness at the same time. Also for me HoK is better because in my experience the dark system doesn't happen that much not like in ML:BB when I go solo rank my teammates keep selling. And also all yhe characters are basically overpowered so it's really balanced, not like MLBB where you gotta use this hero just to kill this hero. And the map is also really good, I like how there are lots of creeps which makes it easier to reach level 4 and each land has its own respective creep like yhe space sprite in the clash and the bird on the farm

Mlbb has the best gameplay while HOK has the best animations. Mlbb catch the simplicity of the game that has better gameplay against HOK. HOK has beauty in itself that Mlbb lack of. Overall, Mlbb is dominant and better than HOK, it is less boring and more direct to the point of excitement aside from Matchmaking. HOK become lame in few minutes of playing. And the too much design sometimes makes the game confusing and have some irrelevant effects to its skills.

In terms of playtyle and skills i should say HOK is the best for my opinion so no hate on me guys also i played MLBB for the past years and now that HOK released globally i tried to play it and yeah at first i thought its easy cause my enemies are bots but man if you go to higher ranks you can really see the long team fight and the skill mechanics that MLBB doesn't have, so yeah MLBB is Good but HOK is much more better cause you can challenge your self in it and also if you play in offline the bots at harder level are nothing to compare in MLBB. So yeah peace and just play the two games and no hate to wach other.

Hok is fun but its gameplay is just simple brawling. Lacks of setup heroes make this game's teamplays less dynamic compared to ML. Yes its flashy with nice effects but no synergy between heroes. Almost everyone is made to deal damage with very less utility skills to use for team combos so each hero can just make their own play without the need to synergize their skill with their teammates. In ML one proper land of good setup can wipeout entire team forcing players to be mindful before clashing and roaming the map. In HOK you win team fights simply if you outnumbered enemy team which is basic playstyle for a brawl game like Aov/ Marvel war . Even HOK pro players dont utilize bushes as much and do bush ganks coz again the hero skill design revolves mostly around damage no setup skills that will make opponents unable to react to your surprise attacks. MLBB has made its own gameplay mechanics a little different than other mobile mobas by creating great setup tanks. They may not be flashy but they are crucial for initiating fights. In MLBB tanks feel like tanks, assasins kills like how assasins hide and one shot their prey but in HOK almost everyone just spam their damage skills and sometimes tanks even deal better damage than others making team role dynamic in this game suck. Clearly HOK devs just anyhow design their heroes skill as long as they look cool, cute and flashy. There is a newly released tank hero but guess what? He again is made to deal damage instead of just tanking or soaking damage for his team. HOK is truly just brawl game while MLBB is more of a chessmatch.

I play both, in my opinion problem of both games are the player itself and the report system(?). In MLBB, if I report some player, idk if they really do a job but nothing really happened, but in HOK, if I report certain player, they really gave me an update about my report. The problem about the player in HOK especially comes from player with Philippines, Malay and Indo flag. But, Philippines player..... they're on another level of idk stupid? I know they migrated(?) from MLBB and instantly became a burden to a team that leads into a defeat situation, you can encounter them from Master II until the higher rank (my higher rank was Grandmaster 21 star)

I'll be honest, I've been playing MLBB a lot since 2020 but HOK's effects are good but exaggerated and the characters are more childish than those in MLBB... so yes, exaggerate the effects of these mobas as you want (which are beautiful effects) but I still prefer MLBB which is different.
