@QualityMobileAutomotive I started doing the mobil oil changes back in 97,they had American mobile lube and I was sir Lance a lube, and A ford dealer learing to do the valve adjustments on the SHOsI worked 90 hrs a week with multiple jobs,and Dont worry I hate ford,My main accounts were car rental facilities,10yrs ago I started doing the floor pan replacement and rockers and that paid more,so learn different trades,now I have 8 of them,they lead to more jobs,even included the undercoating service,so keep learing,dobt be afraid of that,it will open more doors,but I'm near Boston,now I work out of my garage and I'm still 50 an hour and figure out what stealerships can't for honest money and I always do free diags regardless, But imma one stop shop,welding,frame repair,interior, custom exhaust, whatever,its the way to be,anyway,be safe on those roads and try to use good wheel chocks to be safe,didn't see if u had them and use emergency cones around ur work site,I used to tow for state police too so I've seen some bad stuff!

watching this video i noticed the Fedex Ground doing a delivery. I am a former Fedex Ground contractor and it brings back memories where we constantly have to maintain our own trucks. The contractors can choose any mechanic he chooses to service his trucks (diesel/gas). Just stop one of the Fedex ground drivers and hand them your business cards to give to the contractor/owner. Tell the driver to have the owner contact you. That's if your interested. Like your video's

Recently subscribed and enjoying the channel! It was good how you commented on the state of the oil when it was draining! The tranny fluid looked brown to me. Are you considering getting a portable car hoist??
@QualityMobileAutomotive5 ай бұрын
Thank you! The fluid was just a little dirty. Most of the time when people don’t take care of them the fluid is black. The new fluid was a clear/very light brown type of color. Unfortunately I have no room for a portable hoist and they are very heavy/time consuming to set up. I appreciate you for watching and commenting

CV axles are a super common problem on Subarus. I typically recommend for people to stick with the OEM ones as far as replacements are concerned because Subarus are very iffy with aftermarket units. Or perhaps if the owner decides to go ahead with the repair on that you can rebuild the ones that are in this car assuming that they're not too far gone and clicking. So there's some decisions to be made there.

Great work and maybe you could explain something: There is no dipstick for the transmission in the engine compartment? So you fill & drain from same location? Thanks
@QualityMobileAutomotive5 ай бұрын
Thank you! I can definitely explain. There is a drain and fill plug. Drain is on the bottom and the fill is on the side. You fill it until it dribbles out of the fill hole while it is at 100 degrees temperature. You must use a scan tool to check temperature or you could under/over fill it.

@@QualityMobileAutomotive I was told that you should only use fluids specifically for your brand of car for CVTs. For example, you don’t have to buy Subaru fluid. Subaru fluid is made by Idemitsu. I buy it in the 5 quart containers and save 40% off genuine Subaru fluid. Just use the fluid specifically made for Subaru CVTs
