Mobile setup with Yaesu FT-100DR and FT-891

Seeing that red wire on the (-) terminal made me cringe! HAHA! I hope you marked the end of that wire so it didn't get mixed up with the others. I'm considering an FT-891. My FT-857D has seen better days. Thanks for sharing your setup. Search YT for KE4WMF to see my ham-related videos. Take Care!

Yeah. I've got it right on the inside and tested before using. I love the 891. Currently not setup mobile due to some antenna adjustments but I'm satisfied with the purchase.

Where did you find the spade lugs for a 12V battery? - 73's and TNX N5UG

disregard those. I picked them up from my local auto parts store but they corroded in a relatively short time.

That was just a few flat bars from Lowe's. Using a lido mount now. I need to update showing my current setup. I actually just used a regular screw to attach control heads to bars
