Nice one Max and yes great bit if kit for the radio face luckily this other 891 i managed toget came with all the face kit so no soldering for me thank goodness

You said that you soldered the cable rather you would have crimped I believe. I am using a longer version of this 10 feet long and its doing good.

It is alot of radio (for Freeband, SWL and much more), yes... In my 44yrs playing with radios I have never had any desire to join any club of narrow-minded operators. Thanks. Cheers
