Thanks mate, I'm just seriously getting into fleet interdicters (I'm used to flying a Flycatcher in PvP, which is a whole different kind of game), since our previous dicters are AWOL, and this helps a lot... Now to SISI to perfect my application, Cheers.

I might be mistaken, but 'maintenance' might simply mean 'picking it back up and redeploying it'. So that the server is forced to log a change on the item in order to differentiate between actively used deployables and forgotten clutter items, like a left behind mobile tractor/depot.

Yes exactly. Take for instance the Mobile Large Warp Disruptor II - It has a 7 day maximum lifetime which means if you deploy it and do nothing, it will disappear in 7 days (unless someone destroys it first). to stop this from happening you need to deactivate it, and reactivate it to reset that 7 day timer.

thanks!! I so new to this game and now i know the difference between these two bubbles! To be sure, is it right that when a drag bubble is between 2 gates you want to jump it will stop you in between as well?

Yes priggster, that's correct .. if you are in warp and go through a bubble then you will stop :)

In saying that ... the bubble(s) need to be on grid ... They will not work if they are between the gates in dead space ... they need to be in the same vicinity of a gate or other structure to catch people.
