In fact, lock on shouldnt have died 1st season. It really doesnt change anything adding lyle. I mean, they add a new character that looks exactly the same to replacr the old character.. they can just make lockon lose his right shootung eye in 1st season. And have to adjust to left eye..

It would have been interesting to see how she adjusts her role as the new Lockon Stratos and Tieria becomes a mentor figure as his way of atoning for being the reason why her brother lost his eye for sniping to Patrick Colasour.

Anew was literally made to be less self aware compared to other innovators in other words a defect to serve the purpose ribbons gave her. Most of the prominent innovades tend to act on their own like tieria, ribbons, regene, bright, revive, hiling and etc because they were made by veda to have self awareness to guide humanity. Whereas anew returner was recently made like 5 years ago like the other new innovators as new pilots and engineers for ribbons faction. Basically disposable dolls that you can just throw away anytime. This is kinda sad for Lyle's part because he loves anew not knowing of her short disposable lifespan and eventual demise if ever the plan succeeded.

It is just a matter of time I guess. Also how long the exposure to the GN particles. Setsuna has piloted GN Drive mobile suits for much longer. With 00-Raiser, it accelerated Setsuna's transformation even faster. I guess: Setsuna>>> Saji+other Gundam Meisters. I think Saji might become one around the same time as other Gundam Meister because he exposed to 00-Raiser's GN particles
