I really like how the battle is shown from the Zaku squadron's perspective. You get to understand their terror of fighting a Mobile Suit they've never seen and have no hope of defeating. And since we never see Amuro or hear any lines from him, the Gundam comes across as more of a cold, merciless monster than a machine. Not to mention, the Zeon guys would have no idea that they got wrecked by a 15-year-old kid.

To anyone who didn't have mecha as apart of their childhood I give my condolences. Since you never got to experience the sheer awe and wow factor of the Gundam shows and other various mecha shows such as Zoids/Big 0/Robotech/Gurren Lagann/Vandread/Tenchi Muyo war on Geminar.

I was hoping that Bandai would make a series based on the Manga Gundam Origin (as a sequel to the anime Gundam Origin) in 2019 for Gundam's 40th anniversary, but alas it didn't happen. :-(
