Seeing green in life ! Still living green trees are standing, not moving. People never get the truth. As long as the trees stand, let them. They don't hurt anyone, ever. Not once.

Poor alignment: The sluice boxes are not leveled correctly and if the water overshoots the second sluice, you'll dump gold on the ground (a little bit).

For starters it's clear that this setup, is not capable of processing 100 Tons Per Hour... the amount of water into the feeder is too low to move the soils through the trommel... in addition to the 8-10 degree slope of the sluices, with a large portion of the outflow spilling over the sluice runs, also indicates it's limitations. I was watching how many scoops of pay dirt the excavator was moving per minute, and it would seem that in the setup for this video, you might be processing 25 Tons Per Hour, which is hardly economical or profitable. As you did not show what types of carpet, or if you have riffles, I can only assume that at best you are catching 25-30 percent of the gold in your pay dirt. Perhaps if you were to do a video demonstrating how you "set up" the devices, then you might actually figure out how to use this trommel. As such, saying its 100 Tons per hour, is just silly. It appears, that you are in Ghana, and it's also clear that you don't have a nugget catcher, which means you are loosing 100% of all your nuggets, and any diamonds that are in your soils. Lastly, you are within 300 feet of the River (birim) and as such, ya that's a huge problem, does galamsey mining sound familiar? You might want to take this video down, and make a better one.

SOunds like you are an expert, so what is the best option for alluvial gold washing?
@rockychen91193 жыл бұрын
You speculate that the production line in the video is only 25 tons per hour, because there is only one excavator for feeding on site. It is the feeding capacity that limits the processing capacity of the production line, not that our equipment can not reach the processing capacity of 100 tons. The problem of water volume at the hopper is very easy to solve. Once the feed increases, it can be added with a spray pipe. Our sluice has not only riffles but also grass, no nuggets and diamonds were lost, and the recovery rate is much higher than you speculate. We are glad that you have left such a long comment. Each device has its own advantages and disadvantages. Maybe what you think of as a bad device has already become a money-making tool for someone else.

@@rockychen9119 Mr. Chen, it's not hard to compute the angle of your sluice runs, additionally, based on simple math Size of Bucket,(Case 988 excavator has a .7 ton bucket) number of scoops per minute gives a good estimate of tonnage. Loosing 70% of your gold out the end of your sluice run, is never a good idea. As I mentioned, perhaps it would be beneficial if you made a Setup to Operation video, showing how the device functions.... You claim your equipment is making other people money, cool, congrats.... I'm however, was pointing out what appears to be discrepancies in your claims of tonnage that can be processed.

@@alisharoberts8836 washing dirt to get to the gold is called "classification". In short, you have a gram of gold hidden in 1,000 kilos of dirt. Using a Trommel for the initial step is in my opinion the best method of classifying gold. Using punch plate screens of 3/8ths of an inch (9.5mm) that feeds into the next step in classification. The end of the Trommel, should have a "nugget catcher" which is little more that a rim around the inside of the trommel, 1 inch wide (25.4mm) that stops any nuggets or diamonds from washing out the end of the trommel with the junk rock. Now Sluice box versus centrifuge is a huge argument that will never end. Sluice boxes when setup correctly will capture a High 80% of all the gold that is run through them versus centrifuges, boast a mid to high 90% capture rate. Each has it's own advantages and disadvantages... so it comes down to money, how much can you afford to spend on setup and operations... I could write a book on describing the processing of pay dirt... but that would take way to long.
