I am a newbie. My motivation is my daughter’s love for synchro skating. I volunteered to be the videographer of their team even though I only have an iPhone and somewhat steady hands to take videos. I want more and I want to be better. Hence, the research, found DJI Osmo and bought the Osmo Mobile 3! Your Setup & Tutorial video was superb! That’s a true superlative for you after watching a number of similar videos. The time for each segment is just about right and the entire video didn’t seem like 20 minutes for me. Your voice helped a lot (at least, for me). It’s calm, no pretentions and hype. I look forward to more videos that would allow me to optimize my gimbal. Finally, I can’t wait to use it to shoot my daughter’s first ice skating competition. :-)

Thank you so much. I have just bought a DJI Osmo 4 and the HOW TO info and set up instructions truly assume that you have used an Osmo before and therefore will have no issues diving into the product once you have opened it. I stumbled across your ultra-informative video which I imagine will differ little to that of learning how to get started with the 4. Thank you for being concise. I am not a laymen when it comes to shooting, editing (flat bed), writing, etc. I'm old school and I have decide to take control of my destiny and not wait around for the that phone call. Of which I have had many... then time passes and the years add up... well enough of that crap! My point being is that tech, being how it is now, I can make my own film sans producers. But to do it, I need the likes of your help to bring me up to speed asap. So, I just want to thank you for doing this for all of us. It's so helpful. I do have a question. When I walk around with the gimbal (Using it like a steadicam.), it drifts to the left or right sometimes, as though it was a child distracted by a passing puppy. I then use the joystick to pull it back, but this doesn't always work. Is there something I am missing? Am I in some mode that is making the gimbal do this? Thank you for your help in advance.

Very nice, I wish I saw this earlier when I unboxed my dji osmo mobile 3 today. The instructions were not so clear until you put some thought on it. I got this yesterday and I will be comparing the stabilization versus my gopro hero7 black with hypersmooth. My initial impression is not so good though and in the future I am hoping to pair the 2 of them together. Great tutorial!

I just tried using this for the 1st time and watching your video to get the tips on what to do and getting started...This is awesome....thanks heaps...I had a Zhiyhun Smooth 3 before this and it was a nail pulling, frustrating, experience, that I was scared was going to replicate with the DJI...not so...this is amazingly intuitive and easy to use....I lost so much confidence with the last gimbal experience...now i can't wait to get filming again....thanks again for your video...yayyyyyyy ; )

@@SiHorrocks I just bought one secondhand (but perfect condition) from CEX. The app doesn't seem to exist anymore which is annoying, but I only really wanted it to stabilise my video, and I can still control the buttons via Bluetooth, works beautifully for £60 :)

This is a helpful video. Seeing as the instructions and guidance that DJI provides with the product is scant to nil makes this a VERY helpful video. I do wish you would address the following question: what is the difference between Follow, Tilt Lock, FPV modes and merely squeezing the trigger?

This may sound like a silly question to most but I'm a complete newbie to gimbals. Can this be used with the normal camera on the phone (so not the mimo app) or other things like Facebook live, normal video calls etc? Or is this product only usable in conjunction with the app? Many thanks.

Many people use gimbals without the app that comes with it. You only need it to activate the gimbal
