I use a hard plastic hockey practice ball on the bottom of my foot. It was like $9 and I actually play roller hockey so this thing has been well worth the investment. Have had it for damn near 10 years

This is all fantastic advice, however I really don't appreciate the stupid gatekeeping argument of "YOU NEED TO DO THIS BEFORE YOU TOUCH A BAR" Comments like that, especially coming from an achieved athlete really turn people off from even TRYING Olympic weightlifting and overall harms the popularity of the sport.
