What I really enjoy is the mix of lore and facts, giving a good fantasy vibe and rp-feeling while at then same time gives you more in-game knowledge. I've watched this series and must say, these are really good. Most "gold making" videos consist of "get to 60 as soon as possible and farm specific crafting materials or dungeons to sell it on the AH". People forget that on a fresh server there is no money in the economy. In Vanilla all money on a server had to he painfully farmed by killing mobs and selling greys!

One thing I liked about vanilla wow was the economy and AH mechanics. I think they did decently well when it came to automatic gold farmers and people selling stuff, not letting it get TOO out of hand, and the economy was mostly stable on my server. I was on a pvp server though, and a high pop one at that, so these types of places were always filled with people and contested between both alliance and horde killing these off and each other. One thing I would do as a paladin was make badlands runs, just mining Iron and Mithril. It was rare to see a higher level running through there, so the lowbie 40's would leave me alone and vice versa. I could get stack and stacks of it, and that's a good time with engineering and blacksmithing when you need lots and lots to level through those levels to get up to the good stuff, so people were more willing to just go buy it. Also also, by the time you loop all the way around the zone, the nodes start respawning, so it works out perfectly. This alone funded 2 epic mounts.

I liked to hang around the Noxious Glade and Hearthglen while farming gold to buy a mount. Managed to get a Krol Blade and Stockade Pauldrons - both from Noxious Glade. here's a tip. Scalding Whelp's in badlands have a .09% chance to drop a "Dark Whelpling". I know it's a low drop rate, but these guys are actually VERY efficient to level grind off of.. and if you do level grind off of them for about 4-5 levels or whatever...you'll end up getting a few of these. I think when I did them, I got about 6 of them or so...which i ended up selling on the AH for 250 gold each. EACH. that's an epic mount before I even hit 60. ;) just a heads up. GL

I discovered this spot about 6 months ago on my mage, and it used to provide me with quick gold whenever I needed it, but as you said it gets tedious and boring due to the debuffs the bats cast on you, so it wastes more time moving from one mob to the other specially the movement speed debuff. However, if you must make some gold either to pay a debt or buy an item from the auction house before it expires, this is the place to be.

I always found SM Cathedral and Library nukes were fun - loads of coin as well as cloth that sells very well. I never did the math, but I'd imagine it's competitive at 40g an hour though more reliant on the AH (if silk cloth goes for 1.5g per stack and mageweave 2g). Also the bosses usually drop weapons that are worth 50s - 2g each; two bosses each dungeon, 5 runs an hour easy = 20g just from vendoring the boss drops

You should make a video on a RFK Grind. You can clear all bosses rather quick and professions don't make much difference so it's universal. Kill extra trash based off timer of instance per/hour cap. Vendor at Camp T. You can easily make 50g an hour with vendoring doing this, no competition, no pvp. Theoretically you can get a epic mount in less than 24 hours without ever leaving barrens the moment you hit 60. The grind is tiresome and will make you never want to do RFK again but it's a pretty good deal for horde. Not sure about an alliance vendor nearby. Ratchet is a option though. Mage water/food is extremely useful for this. They still hurt.
@austinhensley65534 жыл бұрын
As far as bats go, from a warrior mains standpoint, the lower level plague bats in the south are much better because of the warriors ability to be more or less immune to fears. The lower levels of the bats and lower hp as well as higher density means you have less downtime between kills, kill the mobs faster, and dont have to spend as much on food or bandages. For rogues and feral druids who don't have access to 3 ways to break fear I would recommend the monstrous bats in the north however.
