Lawton gained notoriety for committing a string of jewelry store robberies along the Atlantic Seaboard prior to his arrest in 1996. He spent 12 years in federal prison - spending time in some of the toughest Federal Penitentiaries - and once released, began a career as a motivational speaker, life coach, and author.

Larry was the first prison content guy I found and have been a big fan since he first came out. Love his book gangster redemption and his story. I found Jay Williams, JD Delay and now this channel. When Lary spoke about doing things in the Coast Guard and it not really meaning something, I related to from my tours in Afghanistan. I struggle with those same feelings. As he told his story I thought I noticed 2 things: 1) he had a real gun and not a BB gun which he literally said later in the interview 😅 and 2) he and his brother got $1 million worth of jewels but he only told his brother they got a quarter million and he accidentally said the truth because Ian warmed him up with the best questions 😂

I live the county and big city down from Palm Bay that they started Larry's program. I've seen Larry in my area and knew Larry looked familiar when i saw his pic on the thumbnail. Lord knows my nephew desperately needed his program. If Indian River had used Larry's program I think more kids would be in less trouble. The 19th judicial circuit in Fl is a JOKE! We have weak judges that do a lot for very little in return for the right people. Only $$$$ victims get jsutice in 19th judicial circuit.
