Is it possible to answer on messeges and sms? Or only read notifications? On Iphone
@MakeUseOf4 жыл бұрын
Don't waste money on using this with iPhone. The only thing worth using with iPhone is Apple Watch.

@@MakeUseOf Apple watch is expencive. Especially in the comparison with Ticwatch S)))

@@ПавелПолищук-б2ъ Even older editions of the Apple Watch (which you can pick up for about the price of a new Ticwatch) are better for iPhone users. Wear OS works with iPhones, but it is really best-suited for Android users. Most features (and integrations like calls, notifications) aren't supported on Apple's platform.

I have an issue with it...i got it 3 weeks ago to replace my Garmin Vivosmart, and the issue I have is the one of fitness tracking. Google fit recorded my run, but the app on my phone does not show it. How can I actually access the GPS? Where can I check it. Also downloaded Strava, but since that the Strava on my phone fails data sync. It is really frustrating as I cannot really access anything at the moment. The little booklet is very basic when it comes to set up. Not impressed so far

That sounds like a frustrating problem. Do other apps on the watch sync data correctly? It might be worth factory resetting the watch - I've had/tested a number of Android Wear watches and typically this sorts out issues like this.

Is the phone necessari?
@JamesFrew076 жыл бұрын
The watch will power on without a phone and can be used to tell the time. However, the smart features require a smartphone connected via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.

How can we charge please tell me
@JamesFrew076 жыл бұрын
The watch comes with a proprietary charging cable that uses magnetic pins to attach to the underside of the watch.
@MedicoDarshil6 жыл бұрын
James Frew Ok but where should I connect adapter or laptop or computer tell me
@JamesFrew076 жыл бұрын
The non-magnetic end is a standard USB A cable so you can connect it whereever you have appropriate ports.
@MedicoDarshil6 жыл бұрын
James Frew But before voltage does affect? Where you connect?
@JamesFrew076 жыл бұрын
I can't advise you on specifics. I suggest you check Mobvoi's specifications. However, generally, you can plug the USB A port into any place you would normally connect a USB cable or device.

Very good information.

It's thick and it's not very beautiful. Watches vary widely and smartphones have all but replaced them so if we are going to put one on our wrists, it has to be beautiful and it has to do a lot.
@JamesFrew076 жыл бұрын
Agreed. As a smartwatch is an accessory to your phone, rather than a replacement, it needs to be desirable and many aren't.

i'll tell you why smartwatches haven't taken off like companies would have wanted. gosh darn battery life. that's why. i remember dumb watches of decades ago. i could run the watch for months and months. sometimes a year or more before having to replace the batteries. we already have our phones and other devices we have to charge daily or every other other day. why do we want yet another device we have to charge so damn often? garbage. create a smartwatch with a 6 month battery life, then see the sales soar. i haven't worn a watch in forever, so i don't even know how long dumb watches last these days. if i were going to wear a watch again, all i really need is a cool looking, slim watch that tells time and date and maybe weather and that's about it. don't need entire app store at my disposal. a simple watch might have a chance at a long battery life. sucks that the decades ago past is better at battery life than the future.
@JamesFrew076 жыл бұрын
You are right that battery life seems to be a key factor. Add to that the fact that mostly they are notification devices that cost roughly the same as a mid-range smartphone.
