Right now, there are people all over the world who are just like you. They're either lonely, they're missing somebody, they're depressed, they're hurt, they're scarred from the past, they're having personal issues no one knows about, they have secrets you wouldn't believe. They wish, they dream and they hope. And right now, they are sitting there reading these words, and I'm writing this for you so you don't feel alone anymore. Always remember, don't be depressed about the past, don't worry about the future, and just focus on today. If today's not so great don't worry! Tomorrow's a new chance. If you are reading this, be sure to share this around to make others to feel better. Have a nice day. :)

My dog passed away recently and I've come back to this song today, no one can describe the pain of loosing a childhood pet. Polly was my best friend for 13 years, I used to cuddle her every single morning after I woke up, I miss the sound of her paws walking across the floor board and the way she used to finish all of my left overs with her bottomless stomach and her little waggily tail. This song brings me comfort knowing I gave her the best life possible and that she will remain in my heart forever.

You don't have to fit to anything cause we all are born different, yet having the same potential to fullfil. Things we look at, experiences, people, reality are not as "we consider them, as we see them, experience them", it is our interpretation of them. Each of us does as feels what is good or believes is (good) even when we are not aware of that fact. Our mind, our body has to develop some kind of maturity to understand at last what is our soul, what is the higher purpose for living here on earth and experiencing often very hard times. Yet it serves for raising our awareness of who we are and why are we here. At least it should serve to help us. Only our perception and interpretation creates what we consider as "good" or "bad", but when we look closer we will see that nothing is "black or white", life just goes on, river of reality flows and things just happen, we have to to go with the flow, yet be opened at the same time to make right decision, to avoid same mistakes, to choose higher good of us and other people too, to improve ourselves too. I understand being senstive for lack of comprehension of own self, lack of comprehension from other people, i get the frustration from what we observe and is happening like stupidity, ignorance and crime. But focusing only that aspects of reality can only bring us to insanity, sadness and depression. The key is to accept reality and at least try to become a better person, developing own sense of spirituality, what is true and what values to follow and what to avoid, be opened for what fate brings in and try to get the best from this life, for self and higher purpose of other people too. Accepting self is the first step toward the change for better.

Many experiences have proven that the need of social interractions and belonging is a primary need as drinking and eating... accepting that is also accepting to suffer of loneliness and a good start for recovering. This song is so beautiful, because it also provides some sort of hope. To me the woman who sings 'He'll open doors' almost sounds like an angel who comes down and comforts you. The good thing about depression is that after years of going every day feeling constant sadness and pain, one day you wake up, expecting to go through another day of misery, but for some odd reason it doesn't hurt anymore and you realize that you don't feel anything at all. It's like suddenly going deaf, but in your soul. I would say "enjoy that day" but you aren't going to because you aren't going to feel anything.

This song is with me since I was a teen in 2000. The tears flow in my eyes after I close my room door everytime I think about how those bullies treated me in school. Then the next year , 2001 . This song is joined by another fave song of mine from a band Travis. The title of the song is " Why does it always rain on me ? ". Sad life in my high school days. 😢😩

I've heard this beautiful yet heartbreaking song many years ago in 1999. That was the year I had to put my beloved dog of 15 years to rest. He had cancer, was almost blind and suffered a lot. 22 years later I still feel that pain and it doesn't go away completely. Unfortunately time is not a healer in case of true unconditional love. Just hope we'll see them some day.

disarstar is a really serious german musician who is trying to make a voice against all the hate through his music. the more ridiculous the accusations against him seem to be someone who publicly incites hate. i would ask you for myself, for him and for all fans to give him clearance for his incredible song. he has been an important part of my life for a long time and does not deserve to be perceived as such a person, especially since he is one of the most important, if not the most important musician in the german-speaking world who stands up for the disadvantaged. greetings from germany

@@wjm_ From what I understand: "Disarstar" made a song sampling this song and despite thinking he had legal clearance to do so, whoever owns the rights revoked them right before the planned release of his song. The artist assumes the reason for this was certain German media outlets accusing him of anti-semitism. So now fanboys come here and defend their favorite artist. I just wanted to listen to Moby and I looked up random German rapper drama on the internet. I hope you are happy.

If you knew what an emotional masterpiece Disarstar made of your sample and how many people he gave courage and strength with this song, you would officially give him the sample. Yes, he is a symstem-critical musician. But that's not a bad thing. No matter what they say up there and a lot they are afraid of him. He's doing the right thing. Please give it to him. A lot of people would be really happy. And also makes your song even more famous. Win/Win.

This song helps to release the tears trapped inside. It helps me to let out my emotions in my own space. All of us here are listening to this to help cope with the teeth kicking shit life throws at us. If you’re reading this, you’re still powering through, and you are more incredible and strong than you think. If you need to let out emotions, cry, even post a comment, don’t be ashamed. We’re all human. Life isn’t sunshine and rainbows all the time, but time is the best healer, and tomorrow is another day. Don’t let anyone tell you different and don’t let anyone’s negativity leave you blinded from your ambitions, goals, relationships or friendships. Keep that heart powering through, keep that smile bright and shining, and keep being yourself. Keep remembering to appreciate the sun after the rain has gone. I know you’ll get through it, and I’m sure everyone here can say the same. Stay safe ❤️

I felt the same when i were 25. Its a kind of time in your life you often dont know yourself 100% like u did when u were a kid, its like being a teen allover again but a little wiser. It will pass trust me im 40 now and I might know myself 90% at max, but i still feel bad from time to time (clinical depression). Its NOT easy being human. Try to focus on only the positive aspects of life cause there are more of them than negative. Even when we read and hear about global warming, crimes, famine and starvation. I strongly believe that we humans will come to a point in the future when wars, famine, starvation and being one with mother nature cause technology will take us there. I must think like this for myself. And we really need to teach children even in school about how important our planet REALLY is, we only got one. My youngest son, he´s 15, has asked me what we (my generation) has done with the planet. My only answer is greed and that we lost touch with nature cause we think we own the planet when we actually just borrows it like all animals and insects. I must think like this for myself. Peace, love and happiness everyone. Excuse my poor english, its not my native language.
