Excellent review great channel! I just got my 6-in thorogood mock toes boots myself . Going to wear them for the first time today later on as I tried them on at the store they already feel very comfortable

The toe box looks extremely long and goofy on this boot compared to a RW 1907.

RW Moc Toes are definitely better in every way, but that’s why it cost more. This one is very comfortable as a working boots.

I agree! I enjoyed the 6 inch version as that was the first Thorogood I owned. I am enjoying this 8” even more. It’s different and not commonly seen. I would like to have the RW 875 but have heard that it is not as comfortable and reliable as these.

New subscriber here. Love these boots I’ve had a few varieties of them including a black pair too. some pairs I’ve beat to death at work and resoled a few times. One pair I keep cherry for weekends. Very good price for USA made boots. This channel is a cool blending. I found it buy a cj7 video search stayed for the style!

Alright question for moc toe people, I’ve never owned this boot type before but I love the look of 8 inch Mocs and was wondering if getting these would be a better introduction to them over red wings

I’ve been a Red Wing fan from the beginning but hesitant over the cost. I would say go for the 877 RW. Although, these ones are super comfortable on me.

I would say go with the thoroughgoods first, they’re a bit cheaper and have a less intense break in period over red wings. I haven’t owned either yet but I know the RW Mocs have a harder break in than the iron rangers which I do own and it kinda sucked😂 I used to think I would have red wings moc boots first but now I think I’ll go with thorogoods especially since they’re less challenging to size. A good channel to watch for comparison is Rose Anvil

That’s what Thorogood recommends. I wear a 12 on running shoes and wear an 11.5 on this one here and the fit is good. I have a little bit of room left but I wear thick socks so they are perfect. It depends on your foot too so make sure you are buying somewhere with good return or exchange policy so that you have some wiggle room. Good luck!
