almost happened to me while trying to play elden ring with seamless coop. i somehow managed to corrupt my save file AND my backup which wouldve made me loose over 150h of progress right before the end of the dlc. fortunately there's a handy tool i used to bring back a character from an old save file to a new one without loosing anything
