Thank you sooo much for watching!🥰 The most frequently asked question I get on this video is about the book cover pictures. They are not stickers, and I did not buy them anywhere😅 I searched for the book covers using Google, downloaded each photo, put them into Word/Pages, changed the width of them to 2cm, and printed them on my old Office Jet printer. Nothing fancy☺️

For the challenging, I'm doing a to z challenge. One book for every letter in the alphabet. I'm enjoying, it's fun. And I always do 12 books for the year.

Printing book covers on Windows is super easy: collect them all in a folder > select them all > right click > print > use the smallest setting "contact print", remove the hook in the middle to fit the picture to frame. easy and simple. So go download all the pictures and put them in a folder and just print and cut them out. poor Apple users btw

Hedda, I totally get the fidgeting. I knit or do hand quilting when I listen to books or when my husband and I are watching tv. I'm 73 and I learned in my teens that I couldn't just sit there. that is when I taught myself to knit. I was in my 20's when I finally taught myself to crochet. Then came counted cross stitch, which went on for years. In my 50's I learned to quilt. Knitting is still the most satisfying for me. Thankfully our large extended family keeps on having babies. Little blankets are great for experimenting and learning a new technique. I have been bullet journaling for 3 years now. This year I will keep my first reading journal. Thanks for your gentle inspiration. This is the book I bought to start in 2022: The Enlightenment: The Pursuit of Happiness 1680 - 1790. I'm looking forward to the promised new research. Also looking forward to a good review of that period of history.

This turned out so beautifully! I've always been an avid reader, but this year I got my dream job as a school librarian! I've been reading so much for work on top of my own personal books. A book journal might be a really good idea going forward... 📚

I’m doing a read the world challenge. I came up with it myself when I was thinking of these scratch out maps (later I learnt that someone had already made it a thing, but I still claim it). So, I’m trying to read at least one book by one author from every country of the world, but it can be translated whichever way one wants. The goal is to add variety to my reading. This year I’ve made a wishlist of the countries I would like to “scratch out”.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet but the series is called "The City of Ember" it is post apocolypic underground and the two main charcters have to solve a puzzle to help the people escape the dying city, the series continues on there lives and the things that happen after they leave the city. In "The People of Sparks" Then they reture back to the City to solve one last mystery in "The Diamond of Darkhold" such a good series, there is even a book on the precursers that led to the creation of the city, in "The Prophet of Yonwood" the series is by Jeanne DuPrau I have been trying to get off of my but and make a nice journal and this has given me lots of inspiration. - 📚📚

Having stuff that can just be fun and maybe a little creative but NOT be transformed into a product or side hustle is so important! I loved seeing your setup -- I've always had a little book to keep track of my reading, but I'm super inspired to give it an overhaul heading into the new year! My favorite reads of the year have been One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston (a wlw romance with time travel elements where a lot of it takes place on a subway) and The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon (a chunky high fantasy novel concerning dragons).

I am doing two challenges in 2022. One is a decades challenge where I read a book set in in each decade starting in 1800 and a state challenge where I read a book set in one of each state of USA. The challenges can overlap too, so if I read a book set in 1970’s Nebraska, that’s two for one!

In your other 2022 bookjournal video I saw you wanted to read books from authors around the world. So there is this book Quicksand by a swedish writer, maybe you can use it for nordic! It's like a YA thriller, also a series on Netflix. It teaches you a lot, the writing is also super interesting and the topics are very nowadays. 🌟

I love books as like the way they look and the covers and if you tell me what did the book talk about I would get excited with you ext but I just don't know why I don't read. I guess I'm more of visual person so I like to see pictures more. Anyways loved the theme of your journal 😍😍😍 as always 📚

Love how your reading journal turned out!! 📚 If you end up liking Song of Achilles, I definitely recommend The Silence of the Girls by Pat Baker, which is a retelling of the war from Briseis’ (Achilles’ battle trophy/slave) POV. Lore by Alexandra Bracken and Legendborn by Tracy Deonn are two of my favorite YA fantasy reads this year.

Hi! A suggestion about the book covers - you could use a sepia filter on the book covers when you print them out - it doesn't change the book covers too much, but fits your aesthetics better :-)

I loved your set up! I have a reading journal of sorts but I never thought to actually make it pretty lol. I'm doing a 2022 reading challenge, which is 50 pages a day, every day. I'm doing this for a few reasons: to catch up on my TBR a little, get my reading grove back, and to challenge myself to read outside of my comfort zone by pairing it with the A-Z challenge. Happy reading! 📖

Think feelgood (very comfy) found-family Sci-Fi, focusing on a small group of people and what happens to them while travelling through an intriguing universe. I actually discovered your channel via your 2020 reading journal video. I was starting my own reading journal at the beginning of the year and struggled to find inspiration/videos for how I wanted to use my journal. Basically, I didn't want to track much or write down TBRs, but focus on spreads for thoughts on the books I've read. Your video was a huge help. But maybe I should have rewatched it after some time because I also use a lot of photos for my spreads and it's getting really tedious to find fitting ones. If I had checked your video again at some point, I might have discovered printables for me as well. I will have to give them a try now. ^^ I actually completed my reading journal in October and have to set up a new starting with November as well. 📚

I've been keeping a digital "recommendation list" because I've got so many, and it's easy to add to on the go. If I read something that was recommended, I do make a note that it was recommended and who did so. I have 4 book series to recommend (because I feel like I almost never read standalone books...) - The Wayward Children series by Seanan McGuire - a portal/Urban fantasy series - available in audiobook - The Lost Ancients series by Marie Andreas - afaik, not in audiobook, not certain - The Bone Witch series by Rin Chupeco - available in audiobook - The Secret Texts series by Holly Lisle - not available in audiobook I have other recommendations, but I'm not sure how you feel about scifi...

I love this video so much! It's really informative and also calming. I bought some stationary today to try to make a reading journal. I'm a little nervous. I can tell you have built up your stationary collection over a long time. I hope with my smaller collection of supplies I can still achieve a fairly nice result. Thanks for a really awesome video! 📖🖋🥰💫
