The evaluation of Chase Young was ABSOLUTELY wrong. Tf is he talking about. He got injured, yes, but he’s acting like it was a career altering injury. It was not. He came back and NEVER met the expectations. Chase Young was an absolute bust in every sense.

CY is still a starter in the nfl and is probably going to get a deal avg 10-14 mil per yr he is a top 25-30 DE in the nfl easily

Bobby is also acting like Chase Young had proven he belonged in the NFL. Dude had 7.5 sacks as a rookie. Good for a rookie. Not quite as good as you'd want from a Top 3 rookie. And no where near as good as you'd want from a possible defensive franchise guy....compared to a Micah Parsons' rookie season. And yes, I get it. Chase was also more than just sacks. But still, 7.5? That's like the absolute bare minimum I will accept from a rookie starting DE. If you're starting and play every game but 1 and end up with 7 sacks (especially with them 2 probowl DTs and another solid pass rusher opposite him) then I'm calling you a bust. 7.5 I can probably copium some excuses to be hopeful for Year 2 but still that's a stretch. For a player like that, I'm really wanting at least 9. Like I've got no problem with a 10-12-ish sack a year run stuffing DE. I really appreciate DLaw's game. I would be calling that a win if that had been Chase Young. Maybe for 2nd overall it wouldn't be much of a win, but me personally....I would take it.

If I were the Giants/Browns I would absolutely go with best player and then pick up Ewers in the 2nd round. I have a feeling that Ewers is going to be able to plus up a very bad team...but then that's going to be about his ceiling no matter how good of a team you surround him with. I just have a feeling that Ewers is gonna be a lot like RG3. Can come out strong and surprise everyone with all these wins. But then injuries and a lack of big-time arm talent regulate him to a backup role where they can have long careers. But he could be a good bridge to backup type of QB....where RG3 had potential to be a franchise guy. Not Ewers.

Personally, I think Grant will already be taken before 12th(as will Jeanty) The 2nd best DT in the draft is Walter Nolen DT Ole Miss and I'd take in Round 2: Isaiah Bond WR Texas. Best available RB in round 3(and there should be many good ones left).

We need a bad azz NT to stop the run. Opposing teams run the ball down our throat and run out the clock. This draft is very deep for good running backs and I wouldn't draft above the 3rd round for one. 2nd round has to be WR, for sure.

You open the pass game when you have a strong running game and wrs to compliment each other. Watch Dak and zekes early years the complimented each other
