Quick question, on a Automatic car if u want to slow down without using the break by taking the foot of the accelerator and using the engine breaking, are u allowed to put your foot on the break still without activating the break to slow down ?

If you are doing good planning ahead and take your foot of the accelerate it's fine Yes you can that's what we do on going down hill in automatic car Keep your foot hovering over the brake padel and as and when required press gentle braking to control car speed Regards

@@zinky130 you cannot decide on what license someone should go for! You prefer manual that’s your choice, you’re entitled. She prefers automatic, that’s also her choice to make! You’re not entitled to dictate what a person should and shouldn’t do and you’re surely not entitled to refer to anyone as not “smart” enough because they do not wish to get a manual license! Not everybody has the time to be shifting gears every 2 secs some of us just want to start and go, especially when you’ve got kids in the back. Try learning to be nice as her getting an automatic license isn’t for your benefit but hers! Bless day!
