I do stand-up and I have genuinely seen comedy courses with a section on “Making your jokes safe and victimless”. Everybody is talking about “Not punching down.” Sorry but I’m not the one seeing other groups of people as beneath me. Everyone is equal and therefore equally open to be joked about. Nobody is above being joked about. Nobody.
