It's hard though, because a lot of the cast were busy doing other projects during filming. Emmerly Tinglin and Briar Nolet were doing other dance work and Alexandra Beaton was filming a movie.

When you were talking about Lily I totally agree. I feel like a similar thing happened with Amanda... it's like when Amanda came back and she lost her sass, her fire, and became sort of dull imo, compared to seasons 1 and 2.

I feel like people who say this really don't understand her character development,so try this. Think of it from Amanda's pointo of view. You had been at a studio for years,where you have to be mean,and not shown any form of love. Than you finally get away from that,only to have your life become worse. That was what happened to Amanda,under her mean skin,she was really broken, and if you look at Noah's scenes with her,you can see that he breaks through her walls,much like Richelle. I think that they should have done a storyline for her walls being broken,instead of just instantly though. Sorry,but why she became kind of depressed was pretty obvious. Just watch her scones,you don't have to go looking into it.

I'm so glad you put Piper in the top 3. A lot of the fans bash her for not being overly flexible (in terms of contorsion) and she doesn't do a whole lot of acro, but her technique definitely compensates for it. People who do have any dance experience do not understand that her ballet technique is so amazing. Her turns are also very good. Thanks for the amazing video!

People that don’t have dance experience genuinely think doing stuff like bending your back over int a hand stand isn’t easy because there never gonna have an episode of the dancers just rehearsing bc that wont make a good show but they only show the final product not all the work all these amazing cast members had to go through to get their ability today. So people think piper is just bad because of her acro skills but actually everyone else has just had so much more work on acro and are crazy good.

richelle is a phenomenal dancer objectively. however, the tricks do seem superfluous at time. rather than feeling like a piece, it feels like some tricks sewn together. her movements are sharp and precise, so sometimes it looks too fast. it’s not a criticism of her dancing ability, but sometimes it hinders the musicality of the dance. richelle always brings new tricks ( like her b-twist) and the power moves and it’s nice, but she needs to add substance by using her face more

Yeah, that's what I have been thinking since season 4. Even though Richelle has amazing tricks that make me go :O, it just takes away the dance part of it. The tricks are sometimes mainly the reason why I barely saw emotion from her in the Empire solo.

Richelle is an amazing dancer but she relies on her tricks too much to get solo opportunities or to be in dances. shes more intensty than heart. Like piper doesn't do any acro, yet she still shows emotion and amazing moves. she uses her moves to its fullest ability. But in wod briar is amazing and so good.

Summer Stans are just as bad tbh. If you say ANYTHING about summer, they have an excuse to defend her behaviour. Because she was just the ‘nice girl’, she can do anything and people defend it. Or they are like ‘yeah the writers doing that made no sense, OUR summer would NEVER do anything bad ever’. Neither Richelle or Summer stans take critique well, they’re so defensive. That’s why the best stans are Henry Stans, the true hero of TNS ✨

Absolutely. I haven't encountered any Summer stans yet that are on the Richelle stan level (thankfully 😂) I think regardless of who you're a fan of, you have to acknowledge when they aren't perfect! I do get where some Summer fans are coming from with the writing thing though because I was like that for a while, but ultimately that IS Summer if she's been written like that, as she's fictional 😂 It's a tough pill to swallow!

i don’t like how summer was at the end of season 7 and how she rubbed it in richelle’s face (i know it was unintentional but you would think that somebody would be a lil bit sad at least if they lost a role that meant a lot to them) but the reason why i protect summer so often is because richelle did the EXACT SAME THING as summer (except a lil worst, the day before dancemania & she didn’t find a replacement at least) but get’s no criticism whatsoever for it.

im honestly not a richelle stan 😂 but i rly think she deserves first place because she hits all her moves with an unexplainable power and for me i think her (one) facial expression is quite fierce. I also think summer has a lack of versatility (unlike richelle) and can only do mostly contemporary and lyrical (and maybe jazz) whereas richelle can do all of that plus hip hop and acro. I also have a feeling that richelle could master any move you throw at her but summer may have trouble with the more acro and hip hop moves. Just my opinion so don’t @ me! ❤️

also this season had a disproportionate amount of contemporary routines for the amount of dancers on the team. all of the male dancers identified as either hip hop or jazz dancers yet the group dances were predominantly contemporary which couldn’t showcase their abilities

for me, Richelle takes the top spot PURELY based on one part; the fact that Summer auditioned for the solo and had the audacity to be mad at Richelle when she did the same thing. that's it, the only reason Richelle is better than Summer. as for the rest of your rankings,, i agree with like the top 5(ish) people, but i would definitely rearrange some of the lower down rankings (in my opinion).

Ozzy has made a lot of progress in season 7 - his turns and his energy stood out for me. However, as you pointed out, he does look down, which make him look less confident and less open to the viewer which hinders him a bit. Overall, his amelioration was refreshing to see

ik it might be a bit controversial but can you make a video where you rate the Actors of TNS 1- 6 by their dance skills and personality? possibly in parts bc there is a lot of actors. or a Who Should Have Won Season 1- 5

i prefer s6 lily’s jazz faces - they had more personality. the emotions felt quite forced in her audition to be on a troupe. it felt like slow movements in attempt to be profound rather than actual emotional depth. however, i think her tumbling is still good in season 7

Richelle stans are TERRIFYING. Like I love Richelle (I love Briar more) and her dancing is absolutely gorgeous, but that doesn’t mean her character is absolutely flawless

Richelle is a much more powerful dancer than summer but summer’s emotion is good! But Richelle is just made to be a better dancer so Richelle is my choice! Also I LOVE briar!

interestingly, i wouldn't put summer in my top three. she definitely has the best stage presence of the group and displays the most emotion when she performs, but other than that i think she's lacking when it comes to versatility, or tricks. richelle is proficient in pretty much every single dance style (dominant in acro, but also KILLER at hip hop, contemporary, ballet, etc.). summer is a great lyrical dancer, but she can't tumble, doesn't have very many flashy tricks (other than her box split jump which i agree is AWESOME), and generally has the same tired choreography over and over - this isn't her fault though. richelle is constantly surprising us, with new, refreshing moves that make you want to watch her - and of course she is by far the best technical dancer on the troupe. with richelle in first place, i'd probably actually have kingston and henry in second and third - neither of them were given enough time to shine this season, but when they did get to dance they were incredible. they're both so underrated but very very talented. henry in particular is so charismatic, on par with west, and he has the magnetic energy that just draws in an audience. kingston is definitely not one of my favourite a troupers but you can't deny he's insanely talented, and his flips are incredible. love love loved the video, hope you're safe and well during this time!!

I agree...I think summer is a good dancer but i really don't get the hype over her AMAZING dancing...Like she can do a killer box split leap but that's just about the only thing that impresses me about her.
